I guess it’s supposed to give a hard choice to the opponent. It’s easy to kill and if you do you remove 9dmg that would likely go face but you also reward the opponent with a big hand buff
To make the battlecry OP you have to make a big spell deck, and I guess survive with mostly minions till you get there. Unless you play smaller spells too and risk the battlecry to whiff
Which is there, if you read. Just stop sending your lvl30 in ridiculous Barrens runs and move them on to Felwood. Which is a bit more like playing and the fact that fights last more than one turn kinda makes some tasks actually quicker to complete.
You still get the tasks, just move on from Barrens to Felwood. From what they say, if the level of your strongest Merc is close to the suggested level you still find the Stranger coin. And you feel a bit less like you're playing some ridiculously easy s**t just for grinding, since a lvl30 mercenary can solo a Barrens run, so if this pushes away people from doing that the game might actually look less grindy. Of course the communication is bad as always, and they could have setup some form of compensating for players who were doing that, maybe like increasing the Stranger coin chances if you run on the actual level you should be playing with your team.

But it's conditional and has some decision making. Play this before the naga for the naga effect? Or the other way around for the extra draw?

I kinda hope the new Heroes don't sinergise at least with the strongest quests, like this one doesn't.

Which would work well because turn 2 wouldn't be a completely dead turn

Well, at least the infinite value seems to be gone

Yes

If you run in Felwood there's basically no change in Stranger probability.

I didn't know everybody is apparently playing Barrens runs with level 30 characters. Which a lvl30 character can even solo.

I still found them. I'm using Felwood as a levelup ground and I didn't notice a difference.

If you REALLY can't play anything harder than Barrens. Otherwise you can move on to Felwood and still get your Stranger coins.
