Nah, I'm weird and I like to save my gold up to buy loads of packs at once.
Currently @ 9.1k, so will probably use 10k for new expansion packs on release. xD

Hey, I used this deck to move up towards Legend from Rank 7, currently at rank 5.
I really like it, but I'm wondering about some small modifications and looking for advice.

Cult Master is amazing and wins me games when I can use him effectively, but i almost never draw him. Is it worth putting a second copy in? And what could I take out? I also think I'd be less greedy in using him if I had a 2nd copy in the deck. I'm thinking Ram Wrangler would be the card to take out...
Also thinking about putting a flare in, I really hate getting beat down by Secret Pally.

The only modification I've made so far is to drop a Snake Trap for an Explosive Trap against aggro.
I find with snake trap it's the easiest one to identify and then most opponents really try not to activate it (sometimes to their detriment ^^)

So I've been persisting with this deck but as soon as I hit rank 7 I hit a brick wall. Probably averaging a 50% win rate and just can't climb higher... Record is now 50-21.
Having a lot of trouble with rush decks and locks in general, any suggestions?

Considering dropping a webspinner for powershot to see if it helps any...
(my webspinner rng has been utterly abysmal of late, getting 1 drops most of the time... lots of chickens)

Sporting a 90% winrate so far with this deck from ranks 22 to 11. (25-3)

This is too much, I can't even comprehend how this changes things.

It's a good thing in the long run, but I feel like the majority of players (esp. casuals) will play standard and very few will play Wild.

Seriously don't play this deck, it might have worked the first few hours the brawl was up, not anymore. I've lost count of the losses but I must be in the range of 1-12.
It has a chance against a deathrattle opponent, but anyone playing bonus murloc (which is 90% of people) you'll be dead by turn 5.

This deck doesn't work very well anymore. Am 0-4, everyone is playing rush decks with murlocs. If you don't get the desert camel u have no chance.

I won the next game so wasn't that big a deal. It was that annoying delayed update bug...
It only updates your wins/stats every other game.

I lost 6-7 straight brawls in a row... I finally win and I don't get credited with the win or the pack.

So decided to try again today... played again for an hour and again got my ass handed to me by good decks every single game. Even when it seemed like I had a chance, I really didn't.
I literally cannot win a match with this basic priest deck.
Surely there has to be another basic player out there to match me with at this point when I'm at about 10-12 straight losses.

So I got my brother to start playing hearthstone the last couple days and set up a fresh second account to play with him at the same level.
In my past experiences on my main account I always thought that unranked play mode had some sort of matchmaking to give you a 'fair' opponent. I remember playing as a noob mage with no cards and going up against other noob mages with no cards and it was all nice and dandy.

Anyway so playing my new account I go into play mode with a priest, haven't even unlocked all the basic cards and played for just under an hour.
EVERY person I played against were experienced players (had current card backs) with up to date top of the line decks.
Mage with Antonidas, Thaurrisan and Pyroblast. Priest with Ysera and Confessor Paletress, Paladin with Tirion and Eadric and so on.

I just don't see how in 5 back to back games a completely fresh account gets matched up with opponents like this?
It doesn't bother me really as I have a main account with most of the cards and am used to the game, but my brother also had a similar experience as a new player and now isn't going to play again.

If the matchmaking system is so bad as to create such lopsided opponents for fresh players, I doubt too many of them are going to stick around long enough to actually get into the game and keep playing.
