Hey guys, I had some ideas for a new set whose theme is PVP.
There are 3 new mechanics and a returning one, which are:
There are a couple ways to get the Flag. Firstly, you must play a minion that gives you the flag (example: Battlecry: Gain the Flag.) Otherwise, if the opponent has the flag, if you manage to attack him with a minion you will get the flag yourself.
MTG players will see the similarity with the new Monarch mechanic, and that's because I literally made the same mechanic a week before they announced and explained it. (I even had crowns instead of the flags, so yeah..)
Also, the Flagbearer ability on minions simply means that it activates when you have the flag. It can also used to indicate the player with the Flag.
Once the Flag appears in the game, it never leaves play unless specific cards says so.
Foresee is not new if you seen my previous set, Twisted Timelines. There will however be cards with Foresee (1/2/3), with an interface similar to Discover.
The returning mechanic is Inspire, but it will only be found on spells. A spell with inspire triggers an extra effect if you used your hero power before casting it.
Well that card border is wickedly cool. As for this class RNGesus looks fondly upon it because it's extremely hilarious!
The card border is perfect, praise Teknician for making it.
There's a big party in Karazhan, but there can be no party without some JOUSTING.
You may have noticed the new wording. Instead of the old "Reveal a card from each deck, yadda yadda" now it's simply "Joust with - card type -". Much easier, and i'll probably edit the old cards with this.
Hey guys, recently I finished my other set, Twisted Timelines, so I decided to work on another one because I CAN'T STOP, PLEASE SEND HEL-
The focus of the expansion is tribal decks.
So here we go, at the moment there are no new abilities in the set except for Foresee, which was in my Twisted Timelines set. I got warrior and priest done for now:
Wow, these are hella good. Obviously you need a lot of time to think of such high quality cards as well as making the flavor text for them which explains the universe that they are in (some are funny too). My favourite thing about these are still the mechanics, as they are very simple, effective and seem like something that could actually be introduced into the game.
Looking forward to seeing all of your future work!
Amazing how a one guy can create almost new set of great cards.
Some people were telling after the first release of HS that this game will be boring after a few years but with ideas such as this it may be fun even for my children.
Good luck!
I hope HS can keep it up as well, we'll see, thanks!
I'm a mad card creator with a collection of nearly 200 cards on my PC; only a fraction of them ever posted. I'm seriously into Warcraft lore, and I'm thinking about picking up where you left off and make some alternate reality cards of my own. Your work here inspired me a lot.
Go for it man, nothing to lose, glad I was of help.
I changed the shaman's epic minion into somthing a little bit different, I like a lot more now.

Hey guys, I had some ideas regarding two abilities and made some cards, just for fun.

Thanks Chitzie, I must admit it's getting kinda difficult tho.
Anyway, I added a couple commons, and made a new legendary card for Garrosh, since he time travels and all that. I swear, no more legendaries.

Updated again, and now I am only missing the remaining commons.

And more yet again, I am only missing epics and then it's only the commons.
