Meanwhile VS data reaper shows that from d5 to legend paladin + mage represent 67% of the meta, being the two classes with 50%+ winrate

I challenge someone to point an era where 2 classes represented 2/3 of the play field

Its not an hyperbole anymore, this IS IN FACT the worst meta of ALL TIME. 

We need nerfs ASAP. And not slight nerfs, I'm talking about BIG NERFS. Game is unplayable right now. Anyone still defending it just wants to abuse these 2 classes for easy wins for a few more week.s

The worst matchup to Lunacy mage according to hearthstats is still  45/55.;

So there's no such thing as "counter' to mage right now

That's why it's so broken. Even if you try to desing a deck entirely to counter it, you will end up with something close to a coin toss

This is definetly The worst meta of a card game I ever played, no hyperbole

I played quest rogue era, shudderwock, Jade Druid, neither of these decks had above 50% winrate overall, they had annoying polarizing matchups but they had it's counters at least that kept them from being spammed on ladder.

Right now Mage's biggest counter, Poison Rogue, a deck designed entirely to counter Mage at the cost of losing to any other deck, is barely keeping a 55% winrate against it. There is no answer, there is no  deck you can pick if you hate Lunacy Mage and wants to punish them hard and farm them. You best bets will neat you a 50% winrate against it . For that reason, people are just spamming Mage , the class is close to 40% representation at Diamond 1 according to VS Data Reaper Live. The only reason why the winrate is not higher is because most matches are mirrors or the only other broken class at the moment, paladin, which is close to a coin toss also

These 2 classes represent more than 60% of the diamond ladder right now , meanwhile classes like warrior , priest, shaman, hunter are struggling to have 2% playrate. 

Congratulations devs, you broke the game again. First few days of the expansion and the game feels completely unplayable if you are not one of these guys that find "fun" spamming RNG mage to climb easily on the back of a broken deck.

This meta is a complete disaster

I hate every  'magic' class

But the order of hate , for me, is

Priest

Warlock

Mage

It's broken, period. Every deck I face have multiple towers in it.

Feels even worse playing a class like druid that has no removal. 

They basically drop 2 watchposts early on and you can concede

I thought the past few months being below tier 4 were enough but look like devs want shaman to be unplayable for a year at least...

The new Murloc archetype is a complete fiasco. It just loses to Everything! It's so fringe! Even with god draws it still looks weak. Not even tier 5!

The Elemental archetype has not enough pay off. Lilypad is good but that's about it... That card alone can't carry an entire deck.

Bru'kan is such a slap in the face.... +3 nature spell dmg COULD be very powerful as an otk finisher... but the only nature spell that goes face is Lightning bolt ! No support at all for that gameplan.

Also shaman has NO DRAW and that makes playing otk impossible, actually it makes playing anything Impossible!

Some will say these tools are not good right now but will be good in a future expansion.... Well guess what!? Shaman needed something NOW! The class already went through a meta being unviable. The last thing we needed was another 4 months in trash tier

Why on Earth E-V-E-R-Y Deck I'm facing is completely full of Watchposts?!

It's a new expansion, people should be experimenting different strategies , right?

WRONG, because Watchposts are so broken that either you run them or you have a very very high chance of losing!

People are abusing the fact watchposts have insanely huge stats for their costs to  lock the board early on! You can't play anything and if you play you will get punished hard!

They are the most played cards on HSreplay for a good reason!!! PLEASE BRING THE NERF BAT ON A HURRY!!!!

Everytime there’s a card that hard counters control , people start with drama, so predictable…

It happened before with Jade Idol, Crystal Core, Shudderwock, Open the Waygate, Kingsbane, and now Tickatus…
What all the decks that ran these cards had in common: They were not op at all if you analized winrate. Yet they were still nerfed

Truth is: Control Players are spoiled brats. They want the ability to deal with aggro easily, and that is fine and balanced for them, but if another type of strategy that counters their slow style rise in popularity , even if not op across the board, they will demand nerfs . And Blizzard usually drops the hammer, lol

Why don’t you grow a pair and learn to deal with bad matchups like every other archetype do? Tickatus is fine and it`s existence discourage decks that run 25 removal spells, aka ResidentSleeper decks.

To me this expansion looks pretty boring, the classes that were on top for the past months will still be top dogs. and the meme classes will still be memes....

It's like blizzard has a fetish making broken cards but only for a few classes.

Yeah these cards don't need premium stats, 2/3 and 3/4 would be fine. "Can't attack" isn't a drawback when they have suffocating effects that demand they get dealt with. It reminds me of Arcane Amplifier in arena where once it was down you just weren't allowed to play the game. Not exactly fun.

This card is an absolute disaster. It basically forces everyone to put it in their in decks and the first who draws it wins.

I know it's still the first day but I doubt this will change in the following days.

this people at team 5 are useless. They don’t playtest nothing. How rogue has a 2 mana 1/4 emperor thaurissan! Lmao!!!! Dude seriously this game sucks. 

It’s sad like so much hype for rotation and here we go with rogue meta again... you haven’t got thru 10-11 cards from your deck and they already drew the entire deck. Such a joke seriously rogue again... 2 mana emperor thaurissan? Like i don’t understand where this people it’s trying to take this game. Not even mad js just sad tbh lol. Now rogue can deal also 12 from hand for 4 mana lmao!!! Penflinger? What a joke also. I heavy think they don’t playtest nothing. 

Sit tight for a few days. The next popular deck will be called "Tumbling Towers" or something like that. Instead of waiting, go build it and share it.

Is it? Every game I've played today has been horrid.

As soon as the Watchposts hit the board, you cant play minions favorably, you cant play spells favorably, and all your cards cost 1 more. Cool. And once you finally get rid of them then they just play a huge board of 5/5s that you cant deal with either. Its beyond broken. 

Makes for a very fun and exciting gameplay experience when you cant even play your cards and cant play your deck the way its designed to play. Devs dropped the ball big time on these. Thumbs down way down.
