posted a message on Can anything but Pirate Warrior beat Pirate Warrior?
    Quote from trickster >>

I can beat just about anything except for jade druid with pirate warrior. However, people are quickly getting wise to it. I went from like an 80% win rate the other night to maybe 50% last night. People are making counter decks and I'm sure pirate warrior will go the way of face hunter soon. If see even 1 taunt, I know my chances are bad, another taunt and I lost.

problem is consistency. sometimes pw can have a bad start, usually when you dont draw a weapon until turn 3, but thats rare. slower decks just lose to pw, unless they have the perfect answers in the early turns. and tweaking the deck heavily against pw dilutes your other matchups.
one or two taunts are easy to stomp over with all the weapons.

posted a message on New expansion impact on wild

Pirate Warrior with Ships Cannon goes absolutely nuts in Wild atm. Some guys should quit the forums and acutally play the game. The "clever" people.

posted a message on Best legendaries of any big expansion?

Out of 20 legendaries 4 are completly unplayable, 4 are very borderline

WotG had 6 unplayables and 4 borderline

the borderline from msg are arguably better, so i agree with the OP. But actually that only means you need to buy more packs/spend tons of dust to get all the neccessary legendaries.

If you have fun playing arena its maybe the best way once you got the skill how to draft. Its still horrible random and i hate it. After 10 or so Arena runs who took waayyy to long , i ended up with maybe +100dust instead of buying packs right away.

Some Tavern Brawls are a good way to grind the daily 100g through wins.

Blizz was intelligent enough to implement a rotating format, so you need to keep spending money.

Directly after a set rotation its hard to tell which deck will end up Tier1. It also depends on what class(es) you like the most. You should search up some decklists and craft a deck with only a handful of legendaries.

For now PirateWarrior seems a good deck to start with. It only needs 2 legendaries, Patches and Leeroy and Leeroy being classic will never lose value. Ignoring Patches makes the deck a lot worse, but still strong enough for the lower ranks.

posted a message on POST-GADGETZAN: How do you feel about it so far?

After some more hours into the meta i must say, best expansion so far. It allows for so many directions with decks and it makes a lot of useless cards actually good. Like in Jaderogue. Or check out Amaz Inspire Priest. What a blast.

Im kinda sad, the meta will vanish in ~3 months.

posted a message on Anybody else think Kazakus is underwhelming?

thing is, the spell having a "random effect" makes it way harder to play around. so sometimes even when your picks had only bad choices, your opponent still plays around a mass sweeper.

That said, I think only Priest will survive as a "Reno" deck, after reno actually rotates. He is only a bonus there, not the centerpiece like in Renolock. Kazakus wont make up for it, but maybe Lock gets another sick class card.

Renomage is maybe able to run Alestraza instead.

posted a message on How to counter Pirate Warrior?

There are a lot of questionable replys here..

If you can find the slots, run double Ooze and double Mistress and Pirate Warrior is an autowin.

posted a message on How many legendaries did you get from MSG?

does anybody actually read this lol

nevertheless i want to share my joy.

i opened 52 packs for gold and until i was down to 15 packs not a single legendary. man i was sad.

but then finally the first legendary was revealed. the druid one - ok fine, not total trash.

but then the legendaries started to flow and i cracked another 3 in the remaining 14 packs. talk about rng.

got Patches (actually the legendary i desperatly wanted the most), Raza (the Priest one) and Kazakus (the 2nd most wanted)

so finally i ended up with 4 legendarys, all playable. What a relief, in WotG I opened only 2 trahs legendarys in 60 packs

I will now proceed to buy packs until i crack the next legendary, hopefully hancho or aya, then stop buying any more and craft the missing ones. I think the other ones are nice 2 have but not absolute staples. maybe sally for zoo.

posted a message on Did you pre-purchase Mean Streets of Gadgetzan?

if it had a nice cardback i might have bought it. as of now, i only bought the adventures except naxx. i start lacking some fringe legendaries, so i need to invest into packs some day in the future, but i want more incentive

im kinda sad i didnt preorder TGT, it had a very nice cardback
