With the loss of sludge bulcher and seeing only a few cards from the expansion... turn 5 is going to change drastically. If this card is in your deck so should Sword of Justice or something like that... Turn 2 knife juggler, turn 3 sword of justice, turn four ???, turn 5 Stand Against the Darkness... Tempo wise, it feels slow and open to being interrupted.
Removals/counters to this 2-3 card investment include: Brawl (same $), Hellfire, shadowflame (requires minion), Demonwraith (blackrock), lightning stormed, unleash the hounds (weak), explosive trap, revenge (with low health), Baron Gaddon, Chillmaw, abomination (wild), lorewalker cho (weak), Twisting Nether($$$)
sea giant, flesh eating ghoul, and frothing berserker all would react to this card.
That being said, I will probably try to play Stand Against Darkness.
