There is nothing wrong with nerfing or buffing cards. It changes the meta and thats good for the game. People stop playing when all they queue in to is the same decks. If you want the best for the game then you should be welcoming as many shake ups in the meta as possible.
They knew their was a balance issue, so will fix it. What is the pain is that its not done in 2 days. Why does it take over a week to nerf a couple of cards. Meanwhile people just stop playing altogether. This was the first expansion in a long time i didn't pay a cent. I just crafted all i needed, I'm glad i did now as its a horrible boring meta and the fun of the new rotation has gone. Nerfs are too late people are already not logging in to play. If there is a problem fix it straight away not a week later. SMH.
I see that some people want Mage to be more heavily targeted with this nerf. I think it might end up being Paladin. Paladin has a 57% winrates to mages 51.
Its nothing to do with WR. Mage vs Mage match ups skew that narrative.
DoL has a an almost 70% WR when kept on mulligan only 2nd to that dumb Paladin sword.
If only Mage and Paladin gets nerfed then Rogue will be very strong, not that it isn't already. That 3 mana auctioneer is just too broken.
Warrior, Warlock, DH and Hunter should also be pretty good.
I don't see much hope for Priest and Shaman this expansion.
Priest is already winning plenty of games. People just play the janky spell or rally versions and fail hard. Running 58% WR at over 150 games with a ctrl priest that has a positive win rate vs mage and paladin. At Diamond 5.
Deck of Lunacy needs no nerf. There are no decks that are unplayable because of its existence. It just makes weapon and aggro decks better, but so is Tickatus. Try having positive winrate with Minionless Mage against Hunter, good luck even with early Deck of Lunacy.

Tikatus is the problem. Its existent stops any control deck from being viable. Guess what beats mage... Priest and Warrior control decks heaving in heals and armor.
Finding the key against NM Mage is getting a set of board clears in your hand especially if its a lunacy deck. The pure Yogg ones are harder imo, Illuica helps vs that match up though.
Priest only HS player playing from launch and currently have a 68% WR with a Ctrl Priest deck. Only matchups that are bad are Tikatus Lock and Some slow Ctrl Warriors. WIll post deck later when i get chance.
Why would I regret? I dont play Wild (probably never did in my life and never will), I dont play duels (had 2-3 runs when it started, but the mod doesnt have good vibe for me), so generally those cards are for me completely deadwood.
Rather than putting money into HS I will just dust cards and play again fresh mode.

As many nerfs to mage as possible. The RNG BS they do every game is enough to make you stop playing.

I just dusted the 3 sets rotation at the moment, not sure whats going on with the core and classic stuff so will leave that for time being.
