Well one of the major reasons was so that say Bronze Explorer will not constantly find Bronze Explorer in a chain or Frightened Flunky wont constantly find Frightened Flunky
Now we dont need to worry about them being found at all, so it does not chain as it did.

With the change of the discover would it be possible for Bizzard to bring back the class bonus in discover pools? Now that you cant find the same card to chain off with that means the major reason they nerfed the chance of finding class cards has been fixed-
Just wanna see if you all think they might revert that nerf to the discover bonus!
