Not into Eavesdropper. I play with the sound off and there are certainly deaf players. Also, think about the best/worst case scenario for this card. You play it, and you know every card in your opponents hand. That isn't fun, even though the auditory challenge and memory test might be fun.
Those are definitely fair points, I still think it's an interesting concept though and it could lead to some unique gameplay in Hearthstone we haven't seen before if everyone would be able to benefit from it.
Imho, Eavesdropper isn't getting the attention it should. And I'd Tap That also got a vote from me, because the flavour and theme really are brilliant enough to justify that.
I agree, Eavesdropper is definitely my favorite among all of these. Although I do think it should be at least epic in rarity (Someone at Blizzard recently stated that the main aspect that determines card rarity is the complexity and/or uniqueness of the card, and I'd say this is pretty damn unique). I'm also not sure if this is the optimal statline and manacost for a card like this but that is always something that is up for debate. Nevertheless I just love the idea of dropping this dude and being blasted away by a whole bunch of playsounds while trying to make sense of them.
Damn there are some reeeaaally fun and interesting designs here. I'm glad someone decided to do a design competition with no restrictions and to let everyone's imagination run wild. The first phase of this competition seemed to be really rough so it's a privilege to have made it to the final poll. Thanks for voting and good luck to all the other finalists!
