Your card must seem balanced to me. Please note, I'm no expert on this but avoid all-in cards, cards with high variance and cards that harrass the opponent.
Your card must have appropriate art. Something that goes with the name and fits the Hearthstone look and feel.
Your card must comply to the Hearthstone spelling and wording. For unprecedented effects, try to find a close reference.
Your card must fit the World of Warcraft theme. If it's part of the lore, try to be as accurate as possible; if it's not part of the lore, try to make it as WoW-like as possible.
Please note that this is very subjective. It's merely my opinion, I'm not trying to demotivate anyone from competing!

Storm Elemental 3/5 I don't really know what to say about this one. Probably hard to keep alive but can spin out of control but the discard effect keeps it under control. Hmmm......... okay! (Also, add a dot . after Windfury and don't use a line break.)
About wording and formatting - compare Sparring Partner, ability and battlecry are separated by a newline, and no dot after "taunt". I've formatted the text on Storm Elemental following the same pattern, permanent effects and triggers on separate lines.

Edit: It just looked weird to me, that's why I mentioned changing it. I never really looked for similar cards and/or wording (shame on me!), but you obviously used the right format!
And to add to my... let's say 'lacking' review: I really can't comment on the balance, my initial thought is to scream 'overpowered' but that's just jumping to conclusions without considering the card's dynamic in certain decks. Anyhow, the art isn't fully Hearthstone in my opinion but I do like the fact you made a Storm Elemental! We need more elementals! :D
Honestly that card is so bad it hurts ... u pay 1 card for every attack of the minion ... what the F? sure it can grow into a huge windfury beast, but belcher basicly trades with it and u wont be even able to kill the token and u discard 2 cards to get through and thats just one example. That card is so weak lol :P

Do remember that the card is shaman's... they have Earth Shock to get rid of the belcher. And yes, you pay 2 cards for the elemental to become 8/6 and 10 face, or 8/3 and 4 face and dead belcher. Next turn this threatens lethal, and has potential to bait a BGH. Yes, the cost is really steep, although I feel it justified for +2/+1 growth, it's an added Murloc Raider with windfury.
I think the concept is really interesting but I would make this a 3/6 or something which gains +2 Attack whenever it attacks and discards a cards (so it happens before the attack connects with something).

Yeah man, but ur looking at the best case scenario, that is not gonna come very often. The concept of the card IS interesting, just the stats/mana cost etc. r not right for it i dont think. As it is now, i dont think it would be played much :/

Hello, first of all, the contest for this week is over, so u need to wait couple days for next one. Next, u need to read "submission topic" and familiarize yourself with each week rules (the cards we create arent random ... much, they have some restrictions).
But to your card: It should probably trigger only either in your turn or your opponents, trigger each turn seems OP as hell, and can keep your board alive "forever". Cool idea even tho it was done before if im not mistaken (but well what wasnt right ?:).
Thanks for response I thought that I've read the rules somewhere but I couldn't find them now.... So its good that the competition for this week is over since I made it wrong :) I will look for the rules in the next competiton more carefully and hopefully next card will be ballanced :)

And always look for the number of the week in the name of the topic when u looking for relevant topic/rules etc. ... now its 34th week ;-) so next will be 35th, so dont get lost in older ones when ur gonna go looking (even tho older submission topics are closed for posting so that should tell u that something is wrong :P) :)
Alright so I made my first entry this week, at first just something a bit rushed but the idea grew on me. Obviously it needs some balancing, would love to hear some thoughts!
It's entrance sound could be something along the lines of ''Let's make a deal...'' (if that isn't said by another card already? Can't remember). Upon death maybe ''The bargain is over!'', not sure about the rest.
Cool design with a powerful effect (maybe too much so). I picture this being absolutely insanely OP in zoo type decks, mech shaman/mage, aggro mage, face hunter etc. I'm just picturing the nightmare of playing this late game with 1 other card in hand, and just playing 3-4 low cost cards drawn from your deck. I'd imagine in that case, the Deathrattle will discard only 1 card, leaving you with a 3 mana 2/6 (OP) and multiple cards drawn. Plus the way it is worded, enemy cards will draw you cards right? So unless you have a full hand, and they have a lot of low cost cards to overdraw you, this seems to be a good thing more often than not. Probably should be a 2/4 or something but hard to tell without testing.
Also super petty feedback: With the exception of Blingtron, every legendary card is a unique character in Warcraft. To fit the theme of Hearthstone, this effect would probably be best on some specific ghoul/shadow/spirit character, assuming you wanted to keep the same theme as you have here.
Don't even know how to balance it because of the discard effect. But Blizz destroyed Buzzard which had that effect but limited to beasts and had only 2 health I think. With this you can play a bunch of cards and then silence it and have a 2/6 for 3 mana that drew you maybe 3+ cards. So I would either give it a higher mana cost or lower health.
