Shredder, portal would be OP- this can sooooo easily be tuned by jut removing a few cards form the RNG pool. And should hundreds of cards have to be horrible just because like 4 cards would be a bit too strong if if those hundreds of cards were balanced, no, that is retarded.
Also the random minion cards would "benefit" from a change to a specific pool of cards, sine it would normalize the rng factor of the card, making the game more competitive.
Cards feels more real - ... sacrificing balance so that the cards "feel" real? Im sure less than 5% would agree with this.
Tons of testing needed - we are not really talking about huge card changes here, just small things to not have them completely suck. They don't have to change them all at once, change 1or 2 a week and see how that goes, i'm sure community would love seeing small updates like this, even if none of the cards were usable in constructed, just to keep the game fresh.
Monneeeyyy - a lot of the sucky cards are basic cards, cards that new players are exposed to, it would be absolutely fantastic for Blizzard if new players had more fun cards to play around with to get a better first impression of the game. You could argue that it would discourage them from buying packs, but i'm not saying you should be able to build a strong competitive deck from just basic cards, just a more fun one.
Learning - unless you have an IQ of like 72, learning Hearthstone and figuring out some basic fun combos should be easy, especially if the tutorial showed some basic ones and helped you figure out some of your own.
it's hard to say what are small changes though. remember that unleash the hounds only got mana changes and it went from OP to unplayable, to what it is now. 1 mana can change the entire outcome of a card, so booty bay becoming 4 mana does take up s lot of testing, more than you'd like to believe. i'm sure magma rager was even meant ti be a 5/2 but it made a huge early impact early but the meta and cards changed making a 5/2 okay by their standards. honestly we have nothing to complain about unless one of these cards takes over the meta. yes they could have buffed bbb and magma rager but honestly it wouldn't matter at all. it doesn't effect newbies cause good players aren't going to use these instead and it barely effects blizzard because no one is going to craft these and common's don't give you enough dust to matter.
