Started using Battle Rage after playing the Naxx Warrior class challenge. Paired up with Armor Smith, Acolyte of Pain and Frothing Berserker it seemed really powerful. Battle Rage specifies that you draw a card for every friendly character on the board, that includes your hero. The minons I mentioned above are a little stickier than some of the warriors other monions (more health) so they have a chance to be injured when you want to play Battle Rage.
Compared to a card like Divine Favor, the conditions for you to draw cards doesn't change after you draw, so if you had three injured characters and you play Battle Rage, you could draw 3 cards, play another Battle Rage and draw 3 more on the same turn.
Just something I noticed. It seems to work well with Death's Bite.

*that has taken damage (doesn't count if they've been healed).
I would say it is a very viable card draw method. You could toss a couple (or have a couple) minions on the board and toss out a Whirlwind and then use your Battle Rage.
It's okay in certain archetypes. If you run control, it's pretty bad to get late in the game since it is essentially "Spend 2 mana, draw the card you should have drawn instead". Which I suppose is like Wild Growth...but for whatever reason it works better with druid.
I think it's worth comparing to Arcane Intellect. It's very easy to make it 2 mana for 2 cards, which is pretty great, and it scales really well with a bigger field.

Exactly, as long as you're Hero has taken some damage (which is likely as he uses weapons and damage just happens anyway) and you have one damaged minion, you get two cards. But if you have 2 damaged minions down, it starts to get interesting because now you draw 3 cards for only 2 mana... That's a steal for simply having a couple injured minions on the board.
Do Warriors need more card draw? They already have Shield Block, Slam and Acolyte of Pain as ways to draw cards while doing something else. Battle Rage might draw 2+ cards, but that's all it does.
There's not much that's more inherently useful than good card draw. 2 mana is amazingly cheap for what it could do, and, as people have already pointed out, Death's Bite is going to really combo well with it. I'm actually hopeful that we can see a Warrior combo deck forming.

Get with it.

I agree it will work much better now with Death's Bite. I may have to reintroduce it to my deck when I tweak it with Naxx cards in the near future.

PreNaxx I thought it was a good 1-of, time will tell if running 2 will be viable.
Unless explicitly stated, my posts are my opinion and mine only.

Well Mages use Arcane Intellect and that costs 3 mana, so it's probably worth it.
