I've been playing Hearthstone since TGT and I consider myself a decent player, since I've gotten to a point where I can reach Legend rank and have good results in arena pretty consistently. So I'm like "What's next?", I went to a Fireside Gathering in my city once and it was really fun, lots of nice people and I managed to get to the semi-finals; I enjoy watching HS tournaments but I feel like entering this scenario myself at this point. Problem though is I don't quite have a grasp on how you enter one or how you get into a team in the first place. If someone can shed some light on this matter for me I would appreciate it :)
I would also love to know this. I'm not good enough to play professionallY, but I teach legend with (relative) ease every season (often with my own decks). Any answers appreciated!
You don't really need a team for anything, but you do have to make a very long grind for ladder points (I think it generally requires 1-2 top 100 finishes in a month) and then you'll want to be entering in open cups, something like Tuesday Night Hype, because you can use the points from the highest finish you make in that month. It's a super massive grind if you want to qualify for HCT basically.
That being said, Strivewire has a bunch of tournaments and there's no requirement for open cups outside of signing up and attending. Generally those are pretty big time commitments but they don't cost anything. Good luck!
