I've mulled over an idea lately and would appreciate any feedback. Would any of you like to see Blizzard implement a game mode where you can choose the deck which the AI uses against you? It could help with practice against less competent versions of the decks currently circulating. I've seen a great number of new players complain about broken decks and I think this would be a decent way to get them into the swing of the game.
You're probably right. I think Blizz should rework the AI regardless of if this were to happen or not. But yea, they probably just won't do it at least not to any reasonable degree.
What's the point? The AI won't be able to play the deck accurately anyway, so it would exactly be like it's just throwing down whatever minions it has in its hand. Like if you give it Grim Patron Warrior cards, it won't wait till it gets the combo, it would just throw down Grim Patron on Turn 5.
For Blizzard to "rework" the AI would mean for them to write different algorithms based on different sorts of decks. Like Mill or Freeze, seems pointless really; and if you don't want to make the AI play decks that require skill, then there really is no point to making the AI play specific cards against you in the first place.
