It's usually just tier 1-2 meta decks, sometimes a tier 3 deck is played because it does really well in a tournament format. Peanut shaman is one such deck from last year. Wasn't great at ladder but had decent success at tournaments.
But no, pros rarely come with extremely new ground-breaking decks to tournaments.

So, I wasn't playing HS this time last year, wondering what responses it had to the meta after the event?
Did the pros come up with completely new decks and blow everyone away or was is it tweaked Tier 1 decks at the time etc etc
