I dunno why, but I felt like talking about what cards I'm hoping for in the nest expansion, so let's make a discussion out of our hopes.
1. I want a 2-mana Earthen Ring Farseer type card. This is mainly from an isolated instance in one of my decks where having the card be 2-mana would smooth out my curve a lot.
2. I want more useable Demon cards. There's very few Demon cards right now worth even considering to put in your deck. I really want more options in this area. I'd honestly take a card that was overcosted for its stats as long as it had the Demon tag and no downside.
3. I want a neutral Pirate with an Arathi Weaponsmith ability. Honestly, this is just because I read somewhere that it was leaked that the card I just described would be in the expansion and I realized how much my Pirate deck was begging for it and got myself all worked up that I could get it and now I'll be really disappointed if it's not in the next expansion even though I know the leak was probably fake and... *gasp* *gasp*
That's actually all I'm hoping to get from the next expansion. What about you guys?
More options for Murloc decks, warrior cards like mortal strike (low health for a better effect, not crappy card BTW), more healing in shaman and SOMETHING for the dragon tag...
I'm keen to see more Murlocs too, but it could be dangerous. Murloc Warlock is already kind of on the cusp; for a long time it was a tier-one aggro deck. Giving it any more tools could push it over the edge. So I'd like to see some Murlocs that specifically don't work in a Warlock deck. But I think it's unlikely that we'll see class-specific Murlocs.
One option could be a Murloc with aggressive stats that has a drawback that gets worse in Warlock decks. For example, "Whenever you draw a card, your hero loses 3 life." That would make Life Tap more dangerous, but in non-Warlock decks it would usually just mean that you lose 3 per turn. Obviously with a drawback like that, you could get quite a strong Murloc with a low cost. 1-cost 3/3 maybe?
I also want to see a non-aggro early-game Murloc that doesn't require other Murlocs to be viable. Mostly because I want Hungry Crab to be viable. Perhaps a 1-cost 0/X Taunt, or a 1-cost 2/3 that can't attack.

This is statement is false.
