Some players have multiple accounts. Officially it is allowed to play in different regions using the same account, but I never heard that someone was kicked out for having multiple accounts (with different email addresses).
Some reasons to have multiple accounts: - nostalgia - you can start a new account from scratch to get feelings of a new player - you might want to practice an arena - the best way to get enough gold for arena (unless you make 6+ wins in average) is to use multiple accounts - if you play ranked as F2P, since as free player you can play with 1-3 competetive decks usually, using multiple account you can try more decks, but it will consume more time.
I play on 3 accounts. I barely find time for my 3rd account anymore - sometimes I play arena on it. That might come handy as it opens 20+ packs per expansion and therefore each expansion I get 2+ legendaries, if I finish an introductory sole mission. Sounds handy, with relatively little playing arena (i.e. you play 20 arena per expansion and do the sole mission, each arena nets you avg 100 dust, +2 legendaries worth 800 dust), you accumulate at least 2800 dust.
Option summary
1) you like to play both Arena and ranked - obviously on each account you can have competitive decks with 1-2 classes, you have options to finish your quests with both arena and your ranked decks, viable options.
2) you like to play only Arena - multiple account will not leave you goldless
3) you like to play only Ranked - you might have to play some casual games to earn gold.
One option I don't understand fully
I've read in another thread one option: that one player accumulates enough cold on one account (i.e. 6000+ gold), when the expansion starts buy packs and create various decks, while on another account accumulates gold for the next expansion. Then the next expansion switches accounts. This looks like an interesting concept apart that you will miss some cards from the previous expansion on the account, so in any case it is smarter to open enough packs to get most rare cards from that expansion. If you accumulate gold on alternate accounts between expansions, what is your experience?
What is your experience, pros/cons and advices for playing on multiple/accounts or regions?
My experience is that as a negative, it will require you more time. Playing the game. Some quests, i.e. "win 5 games as", might require you 3 hours. Some will obviously require half an hour. In avg. it is about an hour per day (maybe more?). So for 2 accounts, you probably will need at least 2+ hours per day to finish quests. However, if you do this for ranked you might get frustration caused by card duplication between accounts.
