I'm sure this has been discussed many a'time, but I'm really tired of this card. I'd get a lot less frustrated if Blizzard would just change the wording to random legendary minion. I started keeping track after some frustrating bad luck a month ago and overall my opponent has gotten a legendary from the portal in 26 out of 35 games. 26!!!! and sometimes 2 in one game. What in the heck is that? It's ranged from every legendary possible I guess and some have just been Thalnos and quite a few manastorms and Loreamasters, but it's ridiculous and not very random in one sense.
I'm sure someone thinks it's pretty fun getting legendaries into the game by rng to make things more exciting, but I used to try and climb the ladder until this current season where I've just grown frustrated. guess this is more of a vent than anything, but it's not very fun managing the board well enough and then that happen every time I play tempo mage. legendaries take up a pretty miniscule % of the overall card collection so odds aren't at play here. the sample size is too great.
Hearthstone is mostly all about rng. Sometimes you are the one that is lucky and sometimes your opponent is. Nothing you can do about it, just move on.
Yea, I agree. I get the idea behind the card. I gives a wow factor with the swings that you can get from getting good cheap cards. But I think this one is too much. IMO, it should be restricted in some way. Maybe change this card so mana cost of the random minion must be less than or equal to 6.

i actually am normally the mage player.... so i have seen my share of shit and wtfs.... my favorite one is still a 6 cost al'akir
26 out of 35 games sounds like absurdly, almost unbelievably bad RNG.
Nope.
