I see people keeping Troggzor in their hand for turns at a time because they want that "perfect" turn. You should play Troggzor like you play Sylvanas, people don't wait to drop Sylvanas on the perfect turn unless they have a combo, you often drop Sylvanas to force your opponent to trade inefficiently, the same goes for Troggzor. Sometimes playing Troggzor onto an even board is not a bad idea.
I haven't seen people playing Troggzor at all, TBH. I'm running him in my Pirate Rogue, and turn 5-6 I'm looking to just clear the board and ensure that I have enough stuff on the board to clear his board on turn 7, so Troggzor comes out on a clear board. Works wonders.
That said, there's something weird about the meta right now. My completely fair midrange Pirate Rogue deck is working all the way up to rank 6, it seems like everyone is gearing up against handlock and aggro or something, and somehow midrange blithely slides past.
I agree with you Tabby. People are going anti-aggro, anti warrior/handlock. It's only at extremely high level play that we see control warrior is doing well. Zoo does well at all levels. Still see them up near the top. I am playing my warrior completely alright but I've stopped playing because I'm down around rank 13 and can't climb.
