So this is my version of malygos rogue and it fits really well on the current meta and i succeed to hit legend with this exact deck.
If you feel your facing lots of hunters u can replace conceal with shadowstep wich will give u more survival against them. Also if Think you only face controls then u can replace one farseer with shade of naxx to get more pressure going :) Hope you succeed with this deck also, feel free to comment below.
Basics of Mulligans:
Against Ctrl: Auctioneer/Drake,SI7,blackstab,farseer
AgainstAGGRO: blackstab,si7,farseer,wildpyromancer
Legend Season 8! :
What can I replace Thalnos with? Loot Hoarder? I'm too poor to dig for or craft Thalnos and it's the only card I need to complete the deck ;-;
Missing one prep and blood mage but swapped in Edwin and a spell power drop and had a lot of fun trying it out. Only lost one or two games in a night of play. Thanks for posting it.
I always find myself sitting on cards when I know Malygos is still in my hand/deck. Can be tough to overcome the tempo loss.
Not necessarily a fault of the deck, just how I play it.
I like Thalnos too much to replace him. I would rather drop a FoK for the pyromancer.
Thalnos is in the deck. He dropped vancleef for the pyro
-1 Conceal +1 Shadowstep -1 Earthen Ring Farseer +1 Assassin's Blade. I am not running into harrison so much? so this list works good.
this is superJJs list card for card from earlyer this season? If your gonna post his list atleast give him credit you even mention conceal for shadowstep which is what he ran earlyer this season..
There is no patent on Hearthstone decks kiddo, just like there's no patent on food recipes
Always been a fan of Pyromancer in Miracles, I used him as a sub for Thalnos when I was on a budget and never thought he was strictly worse either. Considered cutting a FoK for a 2nd Pyro at all? I really like having T3 and T4 filler for when you want to Deadly Poison and don't have another drop available, he basically has defacto Taunt and puts up decent aggro.
Nice deck, the wild pyro gives you another 2 drop and is great at clearing boards. With that or thalnos you have a good chance of drawing a card early on to help you out.
Loving the deck so far, really fun to play and good in alot of matchups. Any suggestions though when facing alot of Hunters, zoolock, and handlock? All I am seeing in ranked right now is Hunters, Priests, and Warlock; I usually beat the priests pretty easily, Zoolock is about 50/50, and Handlock and Hunter I lose to pretty much every time. Thanks man, great deck.
I dont like wild pyromancer, and that is because you dont want to "waste" or "throw" away your spells for a little more "simpler" board clearing. I really think Edwin Van Cleef is alot better, and I am pretty sure it is. Maybe it have been great for you right now, but also you only have one of them. So drawing your Wild pyromancer early is pretty low chances. 10-25% chances. Hunter will always be a really hard matchup, ESPECIALLY without coin. It is ALMOST a guaranteed loss against hunter if you do not have coin, but it depends on their opening hand. I do not really see anything else special in here than the pyro, but it is a new card, with new strategies, so no complains ;)
It adds versatility to the deck. Just like how control priest almost always runs 2x wild pyromancer. I agree that you shouldn't use spells like sinister strike or conceal just for pyro proc's unless your in extreme desperation. But then you shouldn't need to early on because you can mulligan.
How can I fit Edwin in this deck? Replace an Earthen?
i run a very similar build onply with an Edwin Package, nice deck,
Nothing newer! =/
the pyromancer is pretty new
To this day, doomsayer + conceal is one of my favorite combos in the game. Could never really do what I wanted super consistently in a control rogue, but, maybe that particular combo is better in a deck like this.
