This can be compared to Spirit Wolves. Both 3 mana cards with taunt. This is very AOE resilient and has 2 more health. On turn 4 you cannot hero power which you can with Spirit Wolves. Is 1 more overload worth the 2 health?
Overload is like mana so its a 2/8 and taunt for 6 mana(that you can play earlier). Thats bad. With 2 overload it would be playable but 3? Nope. Also very useless vs a good control deck.
the overload of three is really heavy and makes this hard to play. it reminds a bit of Feral Spirit, but this one has its stats not distributed over two minions and is therefore stronger against aoe and has bigger synergy with stuff like Ancestral Spirit. It feels a bit like a Stonehill Defender nerf. can be nice in arena i guess, but the high overload doesn't make this a viable choice for constructed i think.

So, it's like Deathlord. Except that instead of "summon random minion from opponent's deck on death" it's "do nothing next turn". Eh, i dunno. Maybe it's okay. There's an Eternal Sentinel still, but then it's only playable on turn 4+.
Well, the most obvious comparison IMO is Deathlord. That too was a 3 mana 2/8 taunt. So this stat line at this mana cost isn't new.
The question is, is overload (3) better or worse than a deathrattle that brings out a random enemy minion. Against aggro, I say the overload is worse. Against non aggro.....I don't know, it may still be worse. When played on curve, having 3 locked mana crystals on Turn 3 is just horrible. So, I kind of hate to say it, but I think it's a worse Deathlord. Though this is one of those cards that's pretty tricky to properly evaluate. I'm just thinking that on an 'on curve' basis, this seems pretty bad...

Seems risky to me. Bit like Dirty Ratbut in a different way. You're could end up essentially giving up your next go.
That's a really heavy overload for something with such a low attack.
If you play it on turn three you're sacrificing your turn four play.
not worth due to overload 3
I voted very good.
Just watch ;)
(Edit; I'm actually not so sure, but lets make a bold statement. It's definitely playable though)
You can always play Eternal Sentinel and Lava Shock. Though, for standard only Eternal Sentinel. Nice play with Trogg in Wild. VERY nice play.

"... but not less than (1)" is needed now more than ever!
Wow, that's big!
Looks like a pretty decent card for a slower list. And common too, nice!
Missing lethal since June 2015.
Seems really bad because it leaves you with only 1 mana for next turn... T4
This card is worst than Deathlord
Should have been 2 Overload.

this card just remind me how broken of Trogg if he still in standard
oh wait, this card also make Thrall DK better a bit because his totem now can evolve into this guy (1 drop -> 3 drop)
Basically a 6 mana 2 8 so not very good

After missing in Un'Goro, overload card(s?) return. But not in the best form, this card is really underwhealming.
