Like everyone else, I'm trying to figure out what's going to be strong in the new expansion. I'm usually pretty conservative when it comes to crafting epics and legendaries after an expansion. I usually open 100 to 120 packs (50 from the pre-order and the rest from gold) and then play mostly with what I get for a while, and initially craft just a couple extras that I really want to start playing with. Then, after a couple of weeks, when I have a better idea what's proving strongest, I do some additional crafting.
This time, I'm fairly excited about the DK cards, plus I have a lot of dust. I think that I may be less conservative this time and craft and play a lot of different things, particularly since I have the dust... so I was thinking that maybe some of us would enjoy listing some of the epics and legendaries we most want to either pull out of packs or craft.
This isn't a formal poll, so respond any way you want. List some card in order of importance, list as many or as little as you want, it's up to you. I'm just curious if will we see a distinct pattern, or will the choices be all over the place? Will we see a hint of tier one cards? I know it's only speculation, since no one's played with the cards. If there is a general consensus, it would be interesting to see if the group mind is correct or not.
Maybe it seems dumb for me to ask this and then not give my choices, but part of the reason I'm asking is because I'm not solid in my choices yet.
Moorabi and Frost Lich Jaina, mostly. I wanna try out freeze Shaman for kicks, but I think a value-oriented Elemental Mage deck could be genuinely playable.
Very interesting choices, tictactucroc. Rogue is the class I play the least, but I think I may play it more just to have fun with Doomerang. I like that it's just a totally different concept, and you have to like the name as well.
Luckily, I have a lot of dust saved up, since I want to play all the DK heroes too. (I suppose this is the response Blizzard wants me to have, but the cards are too interesting for me to complain about the crafting load.)
I didn't know if this would be an interesting topic to start, but I think it's actually very interesting to compare the different responses. Thanks for the replies, and for any ones that come in the future. (I don't want to be annoying and reply to everything individually, but I'll be reading.)
Oh boy, I got quite a list. Let's start with legendaries (in order of crafting if I don't get them from packs/for free):
1. Shadowreaper Anduin, or, as I like to call him, Manduin Wrynn. One of my favourite decks of all times used to be Reno Shadowform Priest, and this card gives you not only Shadowform with permanent Auctionmaster Beardo effect, but also a second (and, sometimes, a third, or even a fourth) SW:D. Definitely goes to my Quest Kazakus Priest, as well as Wild Reno Dragon Priest.
2. Uther of the Ebon Blade. This is just crazy good - I remember how good Justicar Trueheart used to be in control matchups for Paladin, and this has basically the same effect, making it harder for your opponent to control the board with each turn. Not to mention auto-win if you manage to get all Horsemen out, and a weapon that is basically another Ashbringer with third Forbidden Healing attached to it. My Control Paladin will like it veeery much.
3. The Lich King. Now THIS is a really crazy card. It's a bit like Ysera in a way, that if your opponent let's it live for long enough, you basically win the game... with a twist that 25% of cards you get from it you probably never want to use in control matchup, unless you feel particularly ballsy (or your opponent has lethal on board). That said, he is also a solid 8/8 body with taunt for 8 mana. I am definitely going to craft him and include in every deck, exactly the same way i used to include Ysera when I got her :D
4/5. Archbishop Benedictus and Sindragosa. The first one opens up a way to some hilarious shenanigans with Hemet, Jungle Hunter (play only 1-3 drops with a lot of card draw, turn 6 Hemet into turn 7 Benedictus for SUDDEN MIRROR MATCH :D), and this will certainly be core of decks I use to play with friends, whereas the second just... has a cool effect. Yes, I heard already that Medivh is probably better for generating value in Mage decks, and I don't care. If I manage to get Sindragosa, I'm going to build a Wild Dragon Mage and NOTHING will stop me!
Other legendaries are... nice. Yeah, that's how I'm going to describe them. Nice, the same way additional 400 dust is nice. Ofc if I get a DK for another class than Paladin or Priest I'll TRY to make it work (except Rogue and Druid, cause screw these guys)
As of epic cards: I didn't think much about those. I probably want Obsidian Statue for my Quest Kazakus Priest, Blackguard for yet another tool to control the board in my Control Paladin, Dead Man's Hands for my Wild residentSleeper Monkey Warrior and a Skulking Geist to 1) automatically win against Jade Druids on turn 6, 2) screw with any Miracle Rogues that would like to OTK me with some spell shenanigans and 3) because sometimes having 1-drops in your deck in late game can lose you a game - like when you draw a Potion of Madness instead of Dragonfire Potion that would clear the board etc, etc.

Definitely want Shadowreaper Anduin for a Kazakus style miracle deck with free hero power from Raza the Chained
The Lich King is pretty obvious
Uther of the Ebon Blade looks really solid in a sort of taunt oriented control Paladin to set up that Four Horsemen Exodia.
Here's my most wanted KoFT list ...
1. Shadowreaper Anduin. I miss Shadowpriest builds from MSoG, and this appears to be so much better.
2. Archbishop Benedictus. I play Thief style priest a lot, and there's actually some strategy to go with the lolz here.
3. Frost Lich Jaina. Could be the Reno Jackson-style save with the right deck.
4. The Lich King. Ysera, trading in 4 HP for damage and picking up taunt and a bigger, badass selection of cards.
5. Bolvar, Fireblood. Something tells me Divine Shield Paladin is going to be a thing. Or at least fun to play.
6. Corpsetaker. See 5. Also works for Jade/Elemental Shaman.
7. Obsidian Statue. Priest crossed Primordial Drake with Wickerflame Burnbristle.
8. Skulking Geist. A tech card with a lot of potential in crippling OTKs, as well as the nefarious Jade Druid.
9. Sindragosa. Goes well with Jaina's new power.
10. Bloodreaver Gul'dan. Demon lock is fun to play in wild. Can it be viable now?
Missing the Cut: Thrall, Deathseer; Valeera the Hollow; Doomerang; Drakkari Enchanter; Blood-Queen Lana'thel (I received the lock quest and Clutchmother Zavas; might as well)

Pretty much every DK except Malfurion the Pestilent. Uther of the Ebon Blade looks wonderful, Frost Lich Jaina is neat too, and Deathstalker Rexxar could make Wild Control Hunter a thing.
Prince Keleseth, who I still believe is a bit underrated.
Corpsetaker, Dead Man's Hand, Deathaxe Punisher, and of course Drakkari Enchanter for the potential wild combos with Thaurissan.
