Promotes more aggro in Shaman and makes it's hero power even more...polarized.
In Arena the totem will often decide the whole game if you get this T1 and try for lucky totem T2....25% chance to just straight up win the game right then and there....while if you get any other totem you just gave up your T2 play...that's a very bad type of RNG....and I usually think RNG stuff is fun :/

What is Hearthstone to you? A fun and semi-competitive game with wacky effects and crazy RNG outcomes or just a card game you wanna grind as many wins you can get as fast as possible in?
So closeminded, everyone complaining it doesn't help Aggro Shaman, IS NOT MEANT TO DO IT. Is a control tool, meant to open new paths for deckbuilding in the upcoming expantions/adventures.
Go make your own game and quit please then. Go develop your own game if your so smart. If your too dumb to adapt to a competitive game, go walk around collecting Pokemon and find a forum on the Internet to rant on for they game. Hearthstone team has done a great job. It's impossible to perfectly balance hundreds of cards
Amen. It's a control tool. + if you don't want to take 3 dmg. Just kill the spell damage totem or thalnos. It's not going to be viable to play lots of spell damage minions just to get + 2 attack on a 1 drop
I can't believe people actually, seriously, mention using Harrison/ooze on this. Why would you wasteweapon removal on this? They have doomhammer FFS.
If the player base is really brain dead enough to think using ooze on this weapon is a good play, then there is your reason Fort including this in any shaman deck.
Doomhammer is a face/aggro card FFS.
Spirit claw is for anti-aggro decks. Slower shaman lists don't run rockbiter, thus they don't run Doomhammer.
You're embarassing yourself, don't call us "brain dead" when you can't even think outside of your aggro vaccum.
So you're telling me you would use an ooze if shaman plays this?
A lot of people saying this promotes aggro? Looks more of a control card to me. Too slow for aggro, wtf is 1/1 damage supposed to do for you as an aggro player? And if you do get spell damage, that spell damage has to stay on the board so if you are playing aggro chances are you want low mana quick card to pair with this one right? In that case you'll only be able to use Thalnos or a Kobold, both pretty weak in base stats. The other spell damage cards cost to much and are not very aggressive so they won't fit well. I know aggro Shaman is good but pls stop thinking of the Shaman class (as a whole) as aggro, because there is much much more to it.
I think that this is a really good card for agroshaman and almost every other kind of shaman because is a worse ligth of justice with a HUGE upside for its mana cost besides it has sinergy with the spell totem, Azure drake, bloodmage and maybe even kobold's if you are going for the full potecial face spell damage. And the even in the worse case its a pin for 3 turns, it would likely kill 1 o 2 minions. Seem's pretty solid to me, now 4 mana 7/7 has a little 1 mana 3/3 friend to follow.
tempo shaman? shaman has enough burst and enough early game drops and their draw is just barely good enough that maybe it will work, and when it does it will be scary, I like the spell based cards shaman got.

Just fill your deck with one drops, that is creative deck design, right?
I'm glad the team seems to be taking some of the better ideas from the community at this point, there's been a few cards from Karazhan that I've seen made by custom card designers before, including this one.
Looks interesting, but Azure Drake is the only spell damage minion in most Shaman decks, and you can't rely on an 0/2 spell damage totem staying on the board, or even rolling when you need it in the first place, to make this card consistent.
No Aggro shaman is going to start using spell damage minions to make this card good since that would require removing something much more valuable and consistent, and no Aggro shaman is going to use hero power at all unless their hand is totally awful. All the people worried about this being 9 face damage for 1 mana are just being ridiculous and looking for any reason to cry OP. This card will not be good in any Aggro deck.
It will likely be tried out in control decks to survive early turns without using small minions that will make you lose Healing Wave jousts, but in all likelihood it probably won't see much play. I really like the design and the art, but a card like this really only shines in the early game, and there are no early game minions with spell damage that any shaman wants to use a deck slot on.
The thing people are forgetting about this card is that a 1/3 weapon isn't horrible value for (1). It's actually great unbuffed against Zoolock, and combines with Rockbiter to kill opposing Totem Golems. I think the best part is that it improves your chances of a good result with Totemic... arguably, it makes every possible result a good one, because even Vitality Totem does something.
shaman lacks a ping hard, so even if you don't roll spell dmg toten the ping is really good for 1 mana. The problem? Shaman card draw is by far the worst, playing low mana cards with the class, you lose card advantage pretty fast and without draw you could see yourself topdecking pretty early. like the shaman portal this looks more like a tech card, a good one.
Not a good card. There's very few spell damage cards in a face deck, and especially none in the early turns where this weapon would be played and spells have no need of being buffed...
But they do have hro power.

Just like how Tuskar Totemic has a 1 in 7 chance to win the game on turn 3, this card has a 1 in 4 chance to win the game on turn 2.

This might make a spell damage control deck for shamans, Like the card
One mana 3 pings for agro shaman, occasionaly gets much better when you have a spell totem.
Great for early board control vs zoo and token decks, can do face dmg too
I would advise to try x1 in agro shaman and see how it goes
Ah, just what Shaman needed, a 9 damage card for 1 mana. SEEMS BALANCED.
