It's a hard question, I mean they are not as unfair as druids were some days ago. However if you would like to play some tempo/midrange decks against them, damn, they have way more board clears (Madness, Lash, Dragonfire, Pint-size-Horror) and some hard removals than it should be! If you are lucky and you're ahead on the board, DK Anduin's battlecry will probably also hurt you. Too bad, that Control Lock, Mill Rogue and Control/Exodia Mage is pretty weak against some meta decks, because they could handle Priest in my opinion. I don't call any nerf, but they have too many tools to control the board pro-active mode until the machine gun stuff. It's just a too powerful combo, which needs to be more risky. It's actially too safe to play.
I'd say a simple no, they are not OP. However they are still undoubtedly a tier 1 deck. There always has to be a top deck.
Big priest is inconsistent and a well timed silence can wreck them. Highlander suffers the same thing, inconsistent draw and can be pressured to exhaust resources and play to minimize card draw/cycle and you'll usually come out on top.
If highlander curves or bigP gets the dream Barnes T3/4 it's just a greedy deck hitting the mark and you, the opponent, are on the losing end. Move on, that's not OP, it's lucky. For everytime you lose to a perfect priest curve another priest is losing due to Raza or DK Anduin being bottom 3 cards.
Just Hunt them down: Play Hunter, there are a big problem for Priest, just play arround Potions of Madness and you should be fine. There are the new Tier one deck along with Jade Druid (They lost some steam but there are still unreal), but at least there are now more answers for them.
Also, Murlosc didn't actually died, and there are great againts Priest, so recraft you warleades rebuild your midrange murloc Paladin and crush those Priest...And Druids as well.
I think priest is fine as far as balance is concerned. It's too reliant on draw RNG to be a crazy good deck. The negative with the deck is it's super uninteractive and boring I play against. A couple years ago a lot of decks were nerfed on that basis alone, but I guess Blizzard made their peace with the combo decks now since they made priest so strong and quest Mage a thing. Also priest makes competitive tournaments a joke and unwatchable imo but oh well. Competitive hearthstone wasn't all that great to begin with so maybe it's not a big deal.
You'd have to be the kind of idiot who doesn't understand what data looks like, much less how to interpret it, and thinks that your own experiences represent a statistical average across millions of players.
there is a 2/5 minion called Mindbreaker that unable the hero power, if u make that minion with 4 attack with Spikeridged Steed for example, after burning his 1 mana cost spells with Skulking Geist you won the game.

The feeling I get when I play Razakus is that the deck has all the answers I need, but never when I need them.
I'm hovering around 53% win rate with the deck but the average match lasts 15 minutes. I play Hunter too and it absolutely murders Razakus most of the time. I'm currently 28-8 with it.

So I need a 3 card combo to counter one card, and I need to play a specific class. OKAY GREAT just making sure...

Notice the graph of popularity, which ticks upward very noticably recently. Notice even more the win rate, which is not just increasing, but increasing at an increasing rate. Currently approaching 58%. And still increasing. Jade druid topped out at 62% or so on hsreplay at it's top game. So, that is the actual current data as things actually stand. Stop citing entire class win rates as though they pertain to only Highlander.
i mean its the best deck but its not a problem. its very easy beatable. the deck that was the only top deck untouched by the nerfs is the best deck wow whod have thought. you have to wait for the stabilization of the meta to say its a problem. its been a couple of days calm down. also losing to it isnt as bad as losing to druid. we knew priest was going to be the best deck but a lot of people are trying new things out. im personally playing evolve shaman and that deck is an actually pile of trash. just let the meta settle before saying something is a problem. so just leave the game because the game would be better without people like you.
Decks that are bad for the game are not necessarily also overly powerful. Quest rogue is a good example. The overall winrate of the deck was mediocre but it was still nerfed because the queue up RNG was massive and this led to player frustration
While Razakus priest is not nearly as bad as quest rogue, it's still kind of stupid how games are highly dictated by the RNG of how early you draw 2 cards
As for me, I'm glad this deck is turning out to be garbage after the nerfs. The deck is stupid to play with and against no matter the power level. The low power level now means it hopefully won't be popular at all after the meta settles
How can this not be a problem? Every EVERY game I played today was Highlander Priest and every game lasted for more than 20 minutes. This shit is way overpowered and what is worse is that it's an expensive deck, so losing to them makes you feel like you were cheated.

Razakus Priest is definitely strong but not OP. It has consistent counters, its not Jade Druid broken.
As long as you understand the matchup Priest is pretty manageable as long as they dont draw like Gods.

HEARTHSTONE COMMUNITY SHOULD LIVE WITH THE FACT THAT 1 CLASS WILL BE STRONGER THAN THE OTHERS EVERY EXPANSION...
Combo is the counter to it, even taunt warrior or tempo decks.
Priest is fine. Easy to counter.

Nobody like that in this thread, though.

Dr7 its back!
seriously it always comes down to dk or raza being on the bottom happens more often then it should.

Since many of the priest players in this thread are super fond of data and stats, here's the most popular version of Highlander on hsreplay.
