I think it's an OK card, and will be playable once Rexxar rotates out. Most hunter spells do not target anything, and thus the downside is irrelevant, and can be completely played around and negated. The hero power is underwhelming, but targetable at least, Unfortunately, the point in the game where a more controlling hunter needs to be able to target minions is not at turn 10+.
I voted Good / playable but it's not game-changing. There are other spells / cards for that, and this might even make those even more ridiculous.
I dont think this works with boomzooka. Theres no reason to build around a one tine combo with a single legendary spell thats bad in every other situation.
This card is very strong, I voted meta defining, on its own. There are simpler, more reliable combos that are easier to pull off, are more consistent, and stronger.
I think it's playable in spell hunter, but I don't think it's going to be the best card in the deck. It gives more removal options and -- i have to mention -- it can go face. (summons a 5/5 if you kill your opponent!)
sometimes you just need that three damage to the dome.
I think it's obvious what deck this is meant for, and it's just not going to see play elsewhere. I've been surprised, though. I marked it as playable because Spell Hunter isn't a bad deck even in the current meta
He only appears to be rating things in relation to the current meta without any belief that mech synergy is going to change that. His review of hunter was.... difficult to watch. "I like these cards, they are good, but ... 1 star, because mechs aren't in any deck." (snip)
I can't bring myself to watch any of the other reviews because of that. Other streamers/youtubers at least try to predict the kind of meta that CAN evolve from new cards - even if they are wrong, it takes more imagination than just to say "hunter is bad, mechs aren't in any hunter deck, therefore these objectively good cards are bad"
Even if he rotates out in half a year, you still have him in standard for HALF A YEAR. Thats enough time to have a lot of fun with the funnest card in hearthstone .
6 months is a long time by any human measure .Enjoy it. :)
RIP Mr. Biscuit. I've been watching his videos for years, and while I knew it wasn't likely, was always kind-of hoping he'd be the exception and be able to recover. Always seemed so stubborn, but I guess it doesn't have anything to do with your will or spirit.
He was younger than I am, so that makes me a bit morose i'm afraid. Still, what content he did produce was almost always good - he was such a gloriously bad Hearthstone player, like Wowcrendor and Day9, and his video game criticism held developers big and small to higher standards when other people refused to question them, paving the way for actual video game criticism and critique as opposed to play-throughs.
Dire Frenzy; a much needed boost for Hunter and a great unique mechanic, regardless of it being common or not
This isn't a unique effect, almost the entire card is lifted from an Elder Scrolls Legends card.
There's no copyright on mechanics, and people often do have similar, if not the same, ideas concurrently. It's a pretty common phenomenon. But i guess you don't get to make a self-righteous post about it if you think about it rationally.
You can't get corridor creeper because it's base casting cost is 7; only beasts with 5 or less cost go in the pool (because the mana cost is combined, and this was the way they wanted to limit you from accidentally creating over-10-cost beasts)

Mossy horror . Using a mech/bomb hunter and it doubles as removal, Spreading Plague protection, and bomb enabler

Rexxar, because you have a use for him right now.

Hearthstone aside, I kinda want to have some of those tea cartons.

Hearthstone is not a social game. Its just multiplayer.
There is no benefit to allowing emotes, only potential annoyance. A best case scenario is am opponent doing nothing .
I auto squelch 100% of the time

I'm not convinced you have enough hunter decks in your list.

Spell hunter is really fun. HS Replay shows it as having a very high winrate, too, so I think it's reasonably solid post-nerf.

May his FOV slider always be maxxed.

The copies won't have double buffs, but you can double-cast on a single target to make 6+ of a single creature with +3/+3

Dire frenzy cant be used on bearshark because its untargetable by spells.
