Seems to be a very poorly budgeted card for that incredibly random, and bad, effect. I am assuming Shamans will get a hell of a lot more totems that make this card viable, because if not, a 3/2 for 3 seems to be very dead in tempo. The Thunder Bluff Valiant and the Draenic Totemcarver has synergy with totems, so it does seem like there will be more totems.
I guess they are expanding on the totem-variant for Shamans, and not necessarily pidgeon-holing them into Murlocs.
It's pretty nice, albeit not overwhelming. At its worst, it summons a Searing Totem, making it on par with Razorfen Hunter. Most of the time, the other totems are more valuable, and if the card can summon non-hero power totems, it becomes a potentially huge swing with a Mana Tide Totem. No matter, it'll be decent in arena, at least.

I completely disagree. If your saying a 3/2 isn't a viable card then explain Knife Juggler. Furthermore, there are now more cards that buff totems and make them super awesome.... if only there was a class that had synergy like that, that we can compare that too... oh well i guess there is Muster for BattleQuartermaster, that on it's own built an entire set of decks from it. I'll give you that on its own it isn't super epic, and it MAY be too early to call, but i think there will be a ton of Totem synergy that will Definitely make this a viable card.
Well I am stoked for totem shaman to be a thing. Even if its not SUPER VIABLE it will still be fun. I play deathrattle hunter still just because its fun as hell, even if its not competitive.
Underrated card. This card is actually really insane, and possibly the single best card to be released today.
People need to consider that Totem Shaman does not have a good 3 drop, and this fits the bill perfectly. Totems are going to be SCARY after this patch. Everyone is thinking, "oh you just get spellpower totem and it's useless," but look at how many nice Totem cards we have! Even spellpower totem is fine because it can buff your Draenei Totemcarver, or it can get buffed by Thunder Bluff Valiant. And that alone will basically force your opponent to clear the totems even though they're 0 attack and kind of useless on their own. Now all totems have taunt, kind of.
The chances of whiffing are pretty low and not so bad (like I said, even bad Totems are still scary after this patch), and the chances of getting a 3/4 and a 3/2 for 3 lousy mana could straight up win you the game on the spot. I sear, you guys are going to be complaining about how broken it is that Shaman can get a 3/4 and a 3/2 on turn 3, or a Mana Tide Totem and a 3/2 on turn 3. Mark my words. This card admittedly wouldn't be good without Totem Golem, Draenei Totemcarver, and Thunder Bluff Valiant. But you will all be complaining the most about this card, about how its RNG wins you the game in the best case scenario, and in the worst case scenario it's still good value.
Basically a 50/50 good card bad card deal, but in totem zoo, it's actually pretty nice regardless and potentially amazing if you roll golem, mana tide, or flame tongue (which according to what was on the stream it definitely can). Could honestly be an unstable portal level play if shaman gets more powerful totems in the future too.
I looked at this card originally and I thought, you know, it's a card, and you play this card. The card will be that card that you play so you're playing a card. So, it is one thing to play a card. If you're opponent doesn't really have any cards, the card will screw up the card pretty hard, and that means it's a pretty good card.
If hero power totems are actually cards, they will be all worth 1 mana each.
So, on average. you get 1.75 mana worth of stuff for 1 mana (3/2 is vanilla stats for 2 mana minion) and both Flametongue and Mana Tide requires an immediate removal from your opponent. That's a great value even with the RNG drawback. If you play this on turn 3 and your opponent have to remove a totem, he probably won't have any mana to play anything and Tuskarr Totemic is likely to survive, giving you a quite bit tempo.
I still don't think Totem Shaman will be a thing, but like Totem Golem, this card is good enough to make into all existing Shaman archetypes.
P.S. Murloc Shaman didn't became a thing after G&G, overload Shaman didn't became a thing after BRM, and now a Totem Shaman...? Blizzard has a really bad vision on Shaman class.

TOTEM SHAMAN NEW META! Totemic Might mandatory x2 in every deck, mark my words!
mfw his Yogg steals my win
Does that includes the non-hero-power totems like Flametongue Totem I wonder?
I can't wait to play totems!!! Keep in mind, this can also summon collectible totems too! That means Flametongue Totem, Mana Tide Totem, Vitality Totem, and even the new ¾ totem!
Check here for my new cards!Pokemon HS class! All the Pokemon as HS cards!
Most likely, since Flametongue Totem has the race "Totem" on the card.
If this gets the new 3/4 totem guy on turn 3 you pretty much win.

Totem Golem. A 1/8 chance (at this point) for a 3/2 and a 3/4 for just 3 mana? I'll take it! I'll take twelve!
Turn 3 "3/4" Totem.
It's good to have you back, Shaman.

THIS WILD DECK IS AWESOME!!!!

Why am I sticky?
Yes ANY totem.
RIP yogg-saron good things don't last forever :(

Knife Juggler costs 2. The correct comparison is Razorfen Hunter, which this is pretty much directly and vastly superior to.

Well, shamman's prayers have been answered.
In before blizzard gives shaman an 8/8 totem, and this card becomes broken. Lol
i dont like its stats for 3. shouldve been 2/3. as is it looks good in arena but not for constructed
It's hard to judge but I think it's pretty good because it summons any totems.
[card]Flametongue Totem[/card] worth 2 mana, [card]Mana Tide Totem[/card] worth 3 ,[card]Vitality Totem[/card] worth 2 and the all new Totem Golem worth 3 without the overload.

Meta changes the moment you switch your deck.
