GvG introduced 8-9 cards (inc. 1 legendary) for each class. We have only seen half the cards (inc. the legendary) shamans will get if they follow that recipy. will be exciting :)

In worst case scenario, u still get vanilla 2 drop + hero power totem, which u would have to pay 4 mana for (total), but u actually paid 3 mana. And u can get better totem then 2 mana worth from hero power. How can anyone say this card suck and doesnt have value lol, especially with all new totem buff cards, even if ur not gona play it as a value 3 drop, u can combo it later. This card is totaly ridiculus and in arena u will cry every time your opponent plays this, cause u dont know if hes gona have buff to trade with "free" totem into your minion and get even more tempo :)
I don't know why people like such cards. Looks very random to me. It's not bad, but I really don't want to play this card in my decks.
While it is random, you have to remember that the shaman class is based around random. A ton of their cards have inconsistent damage or buff amounts. Also, their own hero power is random. This card is a 2 mana 3/2 with a 1 mana hero power with the potential to get better than a hero power totem. It is awesome and will create a lot of early pressure.
If hero power totems are actually cards, they will be all worth 1 mana each..
Any Hero Power totem is bad. they're not worth 1 mana since you'd NEVER want to pay 1 mana for a 1/1 Searing Totem or a 0/2 Taunt Totem. Vitality is in most situations very bad, and flametongue is just good when you have a board already (and the +2 attack have to matter). the only good Totems you can get out of it are Mana Tide and Totem Golem. 2/8 chance of getting huge advantage, 1/8 to get a decent result and 5/8 to get f***ed. (Razorfen Hunter lvl)
I would happily play a 1 mana 0/2 taunt, heal or spell damage totem if it doesn't cost me a card slot in my deck and hand. Even you get less desirable totem like Searing, it means that you will be less likely to get garbage on your next hero power roll. For Shaman, any body on board is scary because of Flametongue Totem and Rockbiter Weapon. It's not that bad.
It could say "ANY" in opposition to the hero power, where it can only summon one of the four hero power totems you don't have. So, it could just be that it could summon a second healing totem if you already have one.
Another thought about this card: It has the potential to become absolutely broken good. At the moment it seems to be a 50/50 chance if you get a hero power totem or a good totem. With every additional expansion there is the chance that the totem pool will grow -> this card becomes better. Maybe we will see more additional totems even in this expansion.

Awesome card. Shaman is getting love, and it feels good. The only real problem I have with this card is the existence of Totem Golem. If you have the luck to summon Totem Golem with this on turn 2 or 3, a lot of opponents will be screwed immediately. This is a Battlecry, it's immidate. So that makes it way worse than a Millhouse popping out of your opponent's Shredder, and the chances of that happening are a lot higher as well.
Sad to say this, but it seems somewhat broken because of that fact.

There won't be a totem deck people. There will only be midrange decks that may have totem synergy. But this will make it into any shaman deck now besides mech.
Even if it summons a hero power totem (usually valued at 1 mana [Quote from Trump]) its still pretty good value, since ur paying 2 mana for a 3/2 and an additional body. The fact that the hero power costs 2 gives it more tempo when played, since it (kinda) combos two "cards" in one. Furthermore, the 3/8 chance to summon a Mana Tide, Flametongue or Totem Golem is pretty good.

Consider the worst case scenario. You gain that pitiful 1/1 totem. That's still pretty nice. All the other alternatives are better, including the other 3 hero power totems.
But I'm excited with the possibility of summoning bigger totems, like mana tide, flametongue or the 3/4 guy. Plus, who knows if there are any more totems coming soon? The more useful totems, the more diluted is the chance of gaining pitiful hero power totems. It will be 2 copies in most shaman decks, that's my take.
One last point to add. Given the wording, I think we won't see a late game totem costing 7 mana or so, since it would break the card. That means totems will be confined with weak units, aimed for board swarming and effects.

I agree. I'll go out on a limb and say that they won't release a bigger totem than Totem Golem. I kinda doubt another will be released at all, but if so it will probably be a weak token from a deathrattle or some wonky inspire effect.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that not only will Totem Shaman be a thing, Wall shaman will be a thing.
Taunt givers are already good with totems. Totems just got better. Good enough to build a whole deck around? I think so.
