random hate comment about bad design : check. Stop playing card games if you don't like forced archetypes.
I never said I hate this card I just said it forces an archetype. I never said it was bad design either (forced != bad design). You're the one making a random hate comment based on false assumptions here.
Ok I'm just gonna go ahead and say, Silverware Golem is better than this card by a longshot, because you summon it for free. That's how bad I think this card is.
2 mana for a 6/6 is basically free. At least Thing from Below thinks so. I think we'll soon see that Kabal Crystal Runner tends to agree. Even though those two can be completely free, we'll see them played at 2 often enough. I mean, Thing already is.

Blizzard never learns .. worst design ever..(forcing archtypes in each class)
The quest was to discard cards... don't you think making a discard that actually gets stronger when discarded would go along with that? "the forced archetypes" like demons that nobody played after 2 weeks into the season due to it being a lot weaker than other archetypes.
I have a feeling most legendaries are going to be on the similar lines with their class quest card (as bad as rogues seems, it'll be most likely a play x# of cards to get its quest effect).
Really dislike Discolock, very RNG heavy whether you get the good synergy cards like Imp and then whether you discard the correct cards rather than Doomguard. To add to it the Discard cards are spread out across several Expansions, so just like Reno we will see all these Discard cards fall flat once Imp and Librarian rotate out.
2 4/4 at worst and can get even bigger, i love discolock but forcing the play style with both legendaries is not adding to the amount of ways to play. I like it, but i wanted something else.
A very good point. Same thing is happening with the 2 recent priest reveals - forcing a mechanic we already have. New mechanics would be so much better (quests aside, ofc.). Instead we're getting retreads. Hopefully there's a big new [something] yet to be revealed.
And i know that you can make a midrange version of disco. But i would like to see some love for the handlock style. Blizzard had the perfect opportunity to make 2 legendaries for diffrent paths of deck building.

TFB is strong because it has taunt and can protect your other more valuable minions. If it were played with no board as nothing else, (lets say for whatever reason you don't have the mana to summon a totem and have no other playable minion in hand), then it's just okay. Clutchmother will be playable if the Warlock Quest is playable, but otherwise I don't see this being played much. You're not playing it on turn 2, so this will in most cases be a medium sized Edwin.

Life before death. Strength before weakness. Journey before destination.
I fucking hate playing against zoo. I really hate playing against zoo where luck gives you wins. That is what this is. You either discard this and silverware golem and win, or you discard your doomguard and have to play crap like silverware golem from hand to lose. Roll big or go home. Roll spell power or lose. And now we have a glimpse at what lifecoach must have seen to help his decision of quitting this game. Such frustrating and unfun design.
Also it's heading in the same direction as shaman. Overload and discard mechanics used to exist as a punishment for doing over powered things. Now you are making the punishment a reward. Fucking stupid.
Overhyped as hell. I as the opposing player will always know it's in your hand and know what it's stats are. Oh no a 2 mana 8/8 is coming, look how much I care.

Zoolock is actually one of the least luck based decks in the game
ofc i see, what you mean with the early discards - but the general plan is to vomit the rest of the hand so you only stay with the discard options which are good when you discard - and to get to this point, there is no luck or so included
its just an overall solid deck since it was created
Eh. Chances are you're gonna miss this minion with discard. Plus its not really doing anything until you play it so itll be a dead draw for a while. Its good for more targets but Silverware Golem has better synergy for Zoo.
Its fine for control discolock but Zoo discolock is gonna have to party elsewhere this expansion.
The thing is that card is great in a zoo deck as well as all cards that allow you to use discard cards with out a draw back are great. I think this card will fit well in both types zoo and full on discolock. I think too many people feel that only disco lock will be viable next standard year but I do not think that is the case. and as the last 3 lock legendary saw little to zero play it is nice to see one that can at least be used.

Exactly like i said, its far far away from turn 2-3 WTF- Cleef
I think this card enables the Warlock quest, but it's not broken. It's pretty slow, though it does protect your hand from discard effects which are usually on pretty fast cards. But say you have this and the quest in your opening hand, you will also have to have several discard effects and not play this card until a certain point... it's kind of inconsistent if you think about it like that. Luckily for Warlock, their hero power kind of cancels that out. I think it's fairly balanced, but still actually playable!
Custom cards :
CLASSES : Alchemist (CCC#5 | Phase V) | Chef (CCC#4)
EXPANSIONS : Year of the Scorpion (Year Comp)
I read it at first like it was a deathrattle effect lol still broken even tho its forced archetype

Rating: Very Good.
Kind of strange its not a demon.

Playable.
1. Discard is random mechanic.
2. Enemy will see u have this card in your hand, so he can save silence/removal for this
I'm waiting for a card which generates tokens in hand "Always discard this card first"

This one looks nice!
