Well, meta defining doesn't mean that card is better than "very good". It's means that it can create new archetype, revive old one or upgrade exisitng one in impactful way and that doesn't mean that deck must be good. Ziliax isn't meta defining, it's just very good card which is used in every possible deck. Espionage created Espionage Rogue so it's more meta defining than Ziliax. Melon, Floop and Florist were part of Hadronox Druid (cancer) and Combo Druid with Charged Devilsaur+Cube (cancer too).
Disagree. From Boomsday project Florist and Melon were pain in the ass in early meta. Floop (and sometimes Florist) is used even now in quest druid. Glowtron is staple in mech paladin. Electra was used in OTK spell Shaman. Omega assembly and Dr. Boom are staple in any warrior deck. Academic Espionage was mostly a meme but still there were draw decks with Unstable Element + Espionage combo.
WTF are people doing with their votes!!! JEEZ!!! This must be the "Casual" meta voting LOL!
Well, meta-defining doesn't mean thats card is above "very good". It means it can affect the meta by, for example, creating new archetypes or reviving old ones. Mecha C'thun created some decks builded around him (even if they weren't popular), same with Shudderwock. I'm sure there will be created (and played) Cultist/Ra decks (even if just for fun). HoE members could also count as meta-defining cards, because they try to revive highlander decks, but those cards are pretty bad and not worthy to build around them (maybe except Finley) and without additional support they won't work.
Hearthstone it s really a simple game, the more we go further the more it's more difficult to create appealing content by the dev's.
Yes we saw just few cards but the power level it's low and other then that the cards are very boring. I even play only wild and only few cards will make the cut for that format.
I was wondering if i was the only disappointed who will not spend any money after what we saw so far.
I just don't know how easy it will be to get the quest done without falling behind too far. In a control meta this shouldn't be an issue, but in an aggro meta I do not think it is possible to play many of the worse choose one cards since you will be busy with keeping up the tempo, trying not to waste any mana crystals and then many of the choose one cards are not playable.
Yup, wasn't it obvious? 9 heroes x 4 chapters x 8 battles + (9 heroes x 12 battles in 5th chapter) = 396 battles on each difficulty, so at least 792 battles to get both cardbacks.

Nah, Hozen Healer can still work like removal - combined with auchenai-like effects.
