An exciting aspect to this card is that it's beast tag means you can pull it from your deck with the Curator which is neat. Maybe a future walock runs the Curator, a discard package and the water Mulock package
Its good I just don't think its as good as people are hyping it up to be. Most of the time it won't get past a 4/4 before you need to play it. Its like how you play Silverware Golem when you need to instead of holding onto it until you get a discard card.
Edit: Thinking about it more this card reminds me of Hobart Grapplehammer as in both look like they would fit a deck (hobart in pirate warrior and this in discolock) but they are both too inconsistent with stats that aren't ideal.
Even if you can buff this card holding onto it until its an 8/8 is just way to slow. Most of the time you will be forced to play this as a 2/2 or have a dead card sitting in your hand. Unless they introduce a 1 mana discard minion then i think this card is just ok.
This being a beast is also a buff for the curator in Warlock - so we could see some shenanigans with him and the life instad of mana murlock for some other kind of zoo
Overhyped as hell. I as the opposing player will always know it's in your hand and know what it's stats are. Oh no a 2 mana 8/8 is coming, look how much I care.
I will play it as a 1/1 for 10 does nothing except it gets back in your hand when discarded... The fact that it's a 2/2 for 2 that gets +2/+2 every time you discard it is just a bonus.

There is no cancer deck in hearthstone ! You are the Cancer !
Oh wow... This is a very difficult card to play right, so I don't expect to see it in lower rankings, but still... I'm actually tempted to give discardlock a proper try now. I like.
Experienced Discolock players aren't obsessing about the potential to play a 6/6 or 8/8 for 2 mana.
We are getting far more excited about a card, any card, which returns to the hand when discarded.
Indeed, I don't plan on playing this as anything less than a Giant as I'll want it to stay in my hand, financing my discards. Perhaps once my hand is just this (8/8) and two Silverware Golem I'll finally plonk it on the board.
It'll definitely see play in Discolock if Discolock is a thing, but that's a big if. Disco needs more cards like Malch's Imp where discarding is a good thing, or at least is negated. This is one card that does it, but it isn't as powerful as some people think. It's not like you'll be playing turn 3 8/8's or anything, and if you do keep it in your opening hand it's either a 2/2 or a dead card, both which are bad.
Well designed, will be played if Disco is a thing, but not meta-defining as Disco needs more than what we've seen so far.
Powerful, but I don't think it will be game breaking. We'll see. It really depends on the synergy it has with new and existing cards once standard rotation comes around.

Rage quitting: the best way to ensure your opponent knows they beat a giant baby.
Tomb Spider holla at cha boi!!! (Ironically rotating out though).
But seriously, I'm not convinced what the true 'forced deck' is until we know the replacement for Power Overwhelming is. We can only guess if Disco-lock will be more value or cancer oriented.
Here an idea for wild, Tomb Spider will almost always discover this card every time since this is the only beast card warlock has so far. I mean have 2 or 3 of these in discard warlock would be so great.

There are a lot of neutral beasts, so it would be too unreliable to run.
This card is good if we are talking about its ability, but bad if we are talking about the design. The legendary is designed for only Discard Warlock deck, otherwise is crap. Other decks literally cannot use it. 1 legendary for exactly 1 deck. This is sad :((
I think many warlock/discolock players don't care too much about the stats or whatever.
the good thing is that it's a playable minion and negates a discard which is HUGE in my opinion it's one less chance to discard something useful and maybe adding cards to the quest without losing your precious removal/minion
it's a great card in design, we'll talk better when the expansion rolls out and see how the meta will evolve but in a vacuum it's a great card.

Well, finally a card you can continuously discard to trigger the quest. Even getting it to hit just once is a huge buff.
Discard Lock is officially a real deck.
