I was looking for the cards of "Rise of Shadows", and to me it look like an expansion that will be insanely good in wild. There's a lot of cards who work with old cards, a lot of new combos and i think this will make a lot of new decks in Wild.
I agree. Bomb Warrior will be a thing for sure. With Oblivitron, maybe Mech Control Hunter will be a thing, who knows? And, Spell/Deathrattle Hunter are boosted, which I am happy with, as long as these archetypes don't go beyond broken.
I agree, I think wild will be more fun to play than standard, as in standard you only get a 'slice of the cake' (or a taste of the full potential) of the archetype you are playing.

To be fair u could just run mechatun for that 10/10 body and hit em with him. Alternativly mechanical welp.

Wild is almost always more fun than Standard, after a short time Standard always boils down too the same 5-8 cookie cutter decks. At least in Wild you get triple the variety in cookie cutter.
I definitely also saw some nice applications for now-wild decks. The new rogue 2 drop works really well with Hallucination and Swashburglar and you have some great support with Ethereal Peddler as well. The new warrior 10 mana spell is best suited for Big Warrior which is essentially rotating out with the loss of K&C. Big Priest also got some really nice cards.
Ofc it is. It is bringing back the old stuff and that means it can also synergize with them.
Also That's why they produce standard. They wanted to make place for new cards. Older expansions go wild because they could be more problematic with their synergies with newer cards.
And also that means we will see more expansions like this in time. Newer cards will always synergize with older cards and wild will grow. Its name is Wild, do you get ?

Memedeck-seeker. Always tries to build new decks. Hates tournements, streamers, netdecks and poor-o players. ah, but a tournement mode could be great !!!
Well, most of the revealed cards are only good in Standard, because of Rotation.
It is true that some of the revealed cards have indeed a bigger impact in Wild than in Standard (eg the new Thief Rogue cards in Jade Rogue), but it has to be proved whether that is gonna generate meta decks, or just food for the Homebrewers (it would still be good if the latter applied to a number of classes at least). Or not even that.

I would not define it a Wild Expansion anyway.
Most expansions don't have impact in wild, just making weak cards to standard. But this time, i see a lot of cards that will work with old cards...
That's why i use "Wild expansion", of course is a standard expansion... but is the first time i see that amount of usable cards in wild. I think that will create a lot of new decks... in almost every class.
The new decks will appear if we get tutoring card for weapons like Cavern Shinyfinder. If thats the case and this type of card exist somewhere in Year of the Dragon, I can see Dragonsoul Priest lurking into the meta or even Twig Druid :D
Togwaggle's Scheme is ultra broken with Mill Rogue... if there is deck archetype I hate more than big priest, it would be it

Veteran of using wild decks via deck helper only to have lil challenge and because standard is boring, which thinks that RNG is best part of Hearthstone (We all love Unstable Portal and Spellslinger or when Mad Bomber destroys our Piloted Shredder from which you get Doomsayer which destroys entire board).
Sunreaver Spy, Mysterious Blade: Secret Pala gets a bunch of above the curve two drops at the expense of playing a secret on turn 1. Also Commander Rhyssa, Never Surrender!. Might not be enough to make them viable, but chances are there will be more aggro Pala.
Unseen Saboteur: This card looks pretty good to me against any non-aggro deck. Imagine pulling Cataclysm against Mechathunlock or Psychic Scream against Big Priest.

What do you think?
by definition every card is a wild card, so yeah LOL

Your joke don't make sense... u agree that is a expansion with cards that will make new decks in wild? like a "wild theme expansion"?

It's not rng if you call - Amaz

Yep....until you run into Big Priest.
And triple the brokenness
I find this thread funny because of the guy who complained there would be no wild impact from this expansion the other day.
More on topic there are a few combo disruption cards here that will really shake up the wild meta. As for brand new tier decks in wild, we’ll see.
