The game does not need to 'peek into the future', it is a simple calculation and Loatheb should not have been targetable in that scenario. It's just a bug.
People are missing the point of this thread - it's not how good big priest is or how easy it is to beat, the problem is it's annoying as hell to play against it and personally, it completely ruins wild for me when every second deck I queue against is big priest.
Why was this downvoted? With voodoo doll it was a 2-card vilespine slayer with +1/+2 stats. Now its potential use is only in OTK decks and with expensive cards, which you don't want to waste anyways.
I hope they revert the change at least when it goes to wild. Every other effect except echo (or anything that can go infinite) was not broken with this card, but now a lot of combos have been made worse just to enable 1 new card to be costed at 3. Bad blizzard
I support buffing cards which seem good and you want to make it work, but it's just impossible due to a certain class or certain cards consistently countering your plays. Maybe if the card is just 1 less mana cheaper, it would be more fair to play against meta decks and your strategy becomes more viable. Nerfs create a much bigger impact because it usually leaves open spots for new cards and strategies, but they easily destroy your whole deck strategy or even the whole class. Just look at dr. boom, mad genius. He was never mentioned as a problem during the death knight rotation because every class had a death knight available to them. Now it seems infuriatingly broken because other classes don't have access to a value generator or a viable counter. I think buffing cards should be handled with care, but if the goal is finding an equilibrium where many strategies are viable instead of a rock-paper-scissors meta with three tier 1 decks, then I'm all for it.
I would also include SN1P-SN4P for the mech synergy. Also, is the nerfed preparation really that much worse than, for example, novice engineer, that you didn't include it?
Exactly...Waggle pick with Deadly poison and Leeroy Shadowstep is a 4-card 2-turn combo for 24 damage which is easy to pull off in a tempo class. I hope the nerfs might slow their draw down enough that it's harder to pull off.
It's 4x700 but each wing grants you 3 packs, so you essentially pay 4x400 for the gameplay alone. You also get a free legendary of your choice as the Zalae cloak is golden, which is worth the gold in my opinion. The adventure has much more replayability and twists than previous adventures, so I think it's worth it given the time you would need to complete it and the potential fun you would have playing. If you're not interested in the single player content, simply don't purchase it.
It's a random premade deck so it can never be good unless your collection is very limited and you're a f2p player. It's nice that it's golden though, so I would recommend disenchanting it to craft a legendary of your choice.

Even more useless after preparation nerf.

a card with echo and magnetic is pretty limiting to future card design

Yeah keep a close eye in wild like they do with Barnes... Sure

Just ask yourself: "Do I really like playing 45min games?"

Meta-defining, especially because everyone will receive a free copy
