I like how the picture for this article is Reno being super happy for no reason whatsoever, kind of like "oh yeah, let's go!". Kind of funny contrast to what actually this article is referring to xd
I'm honestly surprised no one looked at this cards roots And took one of such low hanging fruits To make their comment on the card be written in rhyme Since it would be the most appropriate time Glad to see the Death Knight gets its first hero card Even though with this rune cost, fitting him may be hard But then again, wild is the only format I follow So perhaps it is too early to sorrow However I have high hopes this card will be good Since discovering minions makes me have a good mood I fear this card may become disliked to some degree by players that play control As it gives Death Knights a lot of Loathebs for these players to get trolled
There is only a handful of creative ways you can draw a dude covered from head to feet with really specific and iconic armour. Unless you count Arthas as being extension of LK skins then that changes things, we need less "Lich King" and more "Arthas" skins if we want to avoid that.
I would expect that there will be a lot of lifesteal cards (maybe even hero that has permament lifesteal) and synergies around these, which sounds both interesting and terrifying at the same time
The original title of this post was "16 arena cards" and for arena you obviously look for stats, and all these cards, excluding Booty Bay Bodyguard were played in arena and were even really good.
Stand against darkness sucks ass in dude paladin (at least in wild, I have no idea about anything standard), it's too slow, you usually go for odd version of the dude paladin anyway, because the hero power is really good, so that point doesn't stand.
This whole post wasn't meant to be taken seriously, it was just a food for thought how bad cards were before.
Since the new Naga tribe is going to be introduced, the old cards that depict naga will get it as well, it's not a problem, since there are only a handful of these, but there is one problem: Naga Corsair, if they'll create two tribe cards, will Cookie the Cook also get that treatment?
Will it be only a pirate or will they create two tribe card mechanic just for that one example. Such problem would've arisen one day or another as time went on, so I was genuinely curious how they'd solve it, I guess I'm going to find out this expac
This is very confusing... so... we're getting totally new core set... what will that change for a wild player? That just means you'll be able to disenchant golden versions of current core set (basic) or not even that?
Will the basic set be changed at all or this is purely about classic set not basic? Also no more hall of fame? There does the hype of guessing what cards will rotate and what ones you have to craft golden in order to get free dust?
That kinda sucks... but that's just for wild players I suppose...
Just because I could do them, doesn't mean I want to do them. I will much rather have 2 quest slots than play gamemodes I don't have any enjoyment from. The game after all is to give you entertainment not feel like you're doing some kind of job. It's just a overall problem, because if they won't fix it by adding a deletion button back, eventually I'll have to ask one of my friends to do it for me again just to have this grace of having some kind of quests while actually playing gamemodes I signed up for. Not your "play this gamemode because we gonna cockblock you from a quest until you do"
So... I never was actually whinning about the battlepass or anything like that, but the lack of ability to reroll or just delete legendary quests is really annoying. I'm wild/arena/tavern brawl player. I hate standard and anything it stands for and the concept of duels bore me aswell. I thought Blizzard said in the their video that the legendary quests will have separate position in the quest log.
And it was fine and dandy until the second wave of legendary quests came in. I was expecting for the quest to either be replaced by the new one or just stay with the "duels" quest forever. I wouldn't care much less since I don't care for the legendary quests. But when these unrollable quests starts spreading like a tumor and the only way to get rid of them is to play gamemodes I don't want to play, then we have a problem.
Was there any info from Blizzard if they will change it? Or will I have 2 quest slots forever? Also the standard quest for some reason isn't cheesable in friend duel... literally every other quest is if you have problem with it, but this one isn't... so any tactic I used that I could accept doing it: Insta concede on both casual and friend didn't work. Focusing damage of both players on me or friend and winning as fast as possible and afk on casual all didn't work.

Zilliax has one keyword that you might have missed the sole reason it is still playable in wild: Magnetic

Which ones? This is very important info and they just shuffle it under a "just several minions".

Flipper Friends has to be a card with the most cards powercrept by it, since (if we ignore class restrictions and tribes) it powercreeps at least: Booty Bay Bodyguard, Command the Illidari, Fen Creeper, Pit Fighter, Stand Against Darkness and Lord of the Arena
It doesn't mean the card is busted, it's just funny to see how far the overall power of cards gone since the old days.
