So easy to gain 6 armour in Druid, then it's a 1 mana spell deal 6 damage... it's defiantly playable. If not in every control druid deck. This the death knight, earthen scale and the gain 8 armour for 3 mana spell (forgot what it's called) easy to upgrade, very good.
why would this be bad? at worst its like living roots played for damage, which it often was. At best, its a huge tempo swing, and is super easy to power up. Cards like holy smite and arcane shot are on the edge of playability even now (evidenced by holy smite being played to survive in some priest matchups, not always for the velen combo), and this has enough of an upside that it should make the cut in just about every druid deck. the synergy with UI is also very real, because it both powers it up, and UI coin jasper spellstone should clear most boards, and make sure you arent milling cards. Also, the death knight completes this so easily that it will probably be an auto include like living roots was.
Control tool for Druid that is hard countered by a card already teched in Druid heavy metas. Honestly, giving them this is probably fine since they'll need an identity once Jade Idol rotates out next expansion. Control (Taunt?) druid is an alright identity, imo.
But it needs ways to win without Jades, and it can't do that without removal tools. This also attempts to convince you to run cards like Claw, Gnash and Bite, since those also remove minions while buffing this card in the process. Probably won't succeed at it, but it's an attempt, and I appreciate that. If nothing else, a creative and flexible card.
It absolutely is not. When you upgrade it, the 6 damage is locked in and you can use it whenever. Shield slam is limited by the amount of armor you currently have.
Really good even if the upgrade is only mediocre. I don't really like that it's yet another buff to Jade Druid, but it seems that Blizzard really loves that deck.

This will bring a new interesting way for people not to go aggro and keep their cards for upgrading.
I am not a Mage player, just thought my avatar would go with my name.

^ I like to know too (especially in shaman's case). 2 1/1s for 7 mana (and 3 overload crystals)?
the first upgrade is 4 damage to a minion and the 2nd upgrade is 6 damage to a minion (for 1 mana)
I wonder if you gain 6 armor on one go, does it upgrade twice?
Really good flexible card, cards like this are of a really good design.
This card in a nutshell.
Flexible removal, also gives Druid a reason to play armor gain cards like Gnash and such. Solid all around; can be played in any form.
First Living Roots now this. Holy Smite and Arcane Shot are sad.

Is upgrade works when card in hand or also in deck?
Too bad, it could have been Jade KAPPA
So you will upgrade this card with every 3 armor you gain tho it is also good at early game so this card will see too much play.
I think it will be lesser, medium, greater tho I wonder if upgrading condition will be same for each level.
It will see play if its upgraded while in your deck. If not... then it might be a bit mehhh.
Looks playable at least.
Thank god for Skulking Geist.
Take a look at my card creations here in vojza's mini expansion topic.
If you gain 6 or more armor at once, does the card fully upgrade? If so, this card is excellent.
