This week you have to create a stitched card. Choose 2 classes and create a card that both classes can use.
You are allowed to use class-specific keywords if one or both classes have them. For example you can create a Shaman/Rogue card and it can have both Overload and Combo.
Your card can't be a Quest. I don't think this competition would be a lot of fun if every other card would be a dual-class Quest.
Your card must have a "Stitched" boarder. Check the spoiler below on how to create stitched cards on Hearthcards.
Click on Custom Classes. Then Click on Stitched Cards. Choose a class in the Left Part and in the Right Part. *Stitched boarder will only appear after you have created the card.
Competition Process
Preview Phase (Starts Now! Ends 20:00 UTC 20/April/2017) During this Phase, the Discussion Topic is made available, previewing this week's competition theme. Entry and Early Voting Phase (Starts 20:00 UTC 20/April/2017, Ends 20:00 UTC 24/April/2017) During this Phase, the Submission Topic is made available for your submissions. You may also, of course, feel free to give early up-votes to any submissions that you like! Voting Phase (Starts 20:00 UTC 24/April/2017, Ends 20:00 UTC 25/April/2017) During this Phase, the Submission Topic will be locked, so no more entries may be submitted. Instead, use this time to browse the submissions and up-vote your favorites! Final Phase (Starts 20:00 UTC 25/April/2017, Ends 20:00 UTC 26/April/2017) During this Phase, the Discussion Topic will also be locked, and a new Poll Topic will go up. Discussion will be allowed to continue in the Poll Topic, and it will also include all the qualifying finalists and poll to decide the winner of the competition!
Discussion Topic Rules
To make sure that everything runs smoothly, we need to reserve the Submission Topic for submissions only. Everything else goes here. What is everything else, you might ask?
Rules or Process. Do you have a question about the competition's process? Do you need clarification about one of the entry requirements? Are you not sure whether your entry adhered to the rules? Ask here!
Feedback or Ideas. Do you have some ideas you'd like to run by others before settling on one? Do you need help balancing or wording your entry? Do you need help finding art that will fit your card? Or do you just want feedback from the community on your entry? You're in the right place! Remember, although you are allowed to make minor tweaks to your entry after you've submitted it, you're only allowed one submission per week, so make sure that you've settled on your card for sure beforehand.
Discussion! Do you have thoughts on other people's entries? Are there directions you don't like that you're seeing too many people take? Or directions you'd like to see more people take? Would you like to help others and contribute to a greater community understanding of Hearthstone card design and balance? This is where you want to be!
All of that said, please refrain from the following:
Posting TONS of Ideas. Discussion topics become an absolute mess if everybody is posting a dozen different ideas. Please post not more than 3 distinct ideas at a time. Any more than that and we'll have to delete your post.
Advertising Your Entry. Please don't pop in here just to advertise your entry only to never be heard from again. This includes only asking short, generic, or insincere questions like "Thoughts?" or "Do you think this is interesting?". Yes, getting feedback on your entry is one of the purposes of this topic, but we're not just here for other people to help you. We're here for you all to help each other. 12 hours after this competition begins, there should be plenty of other posts here for you to give specific feedback or for you to comment on a trend. If you post your entry for feedback after this time and do not also offer some form of substantial commentary, critique, or praise of others' work, you may find your post deleted.
Plagiarism. Many people post their ideas here before finalizing them in the submission topic. Directly plagiarizing those ideas to post in the submission topic yourself is absolutely not acceptable.
So, without further ado, have fun and get creating!
Secrets are allowed but keep in mind that dual-class secrets don't make a lot of sense because every class-specific secret has a different mana cost. However there's still interesting design space to explore here. For example Druid/Paladin secret with Choose One. Druids could still use that secret because your opponent doesn't know which secret effect you chose.
So this is my initial idea. It provides a healthy heal for rogues, and some early game removal for the druid.
Any thoughts is appericiated :)
Mechanically, I think this is spot on. The balance seems about right. My only gripe is that the theme doesn't seem right. This looks like a Druid card, and not really a Druid-Rogue card.
Edit: also the wording is confusing, is it a 50% chance to cast anything? and then a coinflip for which one it is? or a coinflip from the start with it casting every time?

Yeah. Initially i wanted something like a picture of a Cat form druid in stealth for the rogue flavor.
So this was what i could find in quickly, i'll make sure to make the art better :)
The name is not ideal either, i considered something like Prowl. Which is inspired from the Ingame Druid version of Stealth in warcraft. But that might not fit either.
If you have any suggestions, it would be amazing :)

I think Prowl would fit perfectly, since it's thematically the overlap between the two classes.
This should be an incredibly interesting week with some fairly different cards than usual. Is the stiched function new? Didn't see it when I was working on stuff not too long ago.

Getting images of art of cats in stealth is next to impossible. But this one looks like it's sneaking up on something atleast.

Prowl sounds like a cool card.. but this doesn't feel like "Prowl" to me. Like nurgling said, your card balance seems spot on, but this card seems to be driven more out of a desire to give rogues healing than fitting the flavor a Rogue/Druid dual class card. Prowl gets at that notion, something that relates to both classes.
So, I've pretty much settled on my idea, I've been messing around with dual class cards for ages, now I just need some help on balance.
I took Jungle Panther and Stranglethorn Tiger as my baseline for Stealthed Beasts, and figured that 4/4 for (4) is probably a little bit above average, but fine for a class card.
The combo part is where it gets interesting. SI:7 Agent loses 1 stat (3/3 instead of 3/4 a la Spider Tank) for its Combo effect, which would be in-line with the second card - 4/4 being 1 stat below Chillwind Yeti's 4/5, or Lost Tallstrider's 5/4 + Beast. I originally wanted the first version, which drops another stat for more damage, but considered that 3 damage might be too strong an effect at 4 mana. Which version do you prefer?
The flavour is of a lurking Alligator which can either remain hidden - played without the combo, with Stealth - or deal damage in a surprise attack - use the combo, lose Stealth.

It has been there for quite some time now, but a lot of people just haven't really discovered the function yet. When we(mods) discovered the function a while ago we actually thought it would be a really cool theme for a WCDC.. but then we forgot about it for a while and none of the WCDC winners suggested that theme either. But here it finally is! :D
