Love this card. Certainly doesn't look competitive in existing archetypes, but the sheer fact that giving one minion +2/+2 for 2 is fair-ish (keeping in mind that fair-ish is generally not good enough for constructed), and multiple minions +2/+2 for 2 is pretty strong, I do believe it has potential.
Also, 4 mana synergy - Sunfury Protector + Bolster. Helps hold off aggro and ultimately provides 6/7 worth of stats for 4 mana (and that's assuming you don't already have a taunt out). Of course, that requires you to have two minions out already... but just imagine if you went turn 2 Armorsmith, turn 3 Acolyte of Pain, turn 4 Sunfury + Bolster.
That certainly sounds too gimmicky at first glance - but a card with the potential to be that powerful means that I wouldn't be totally surprised if someone made it work in some sort of competitive deck.
Hello taunt aggro. Don't want to go to far into magical Christmas land but turn one goldshire footman, turn two target dummy this card. a 2/4 and 3/4 taunt.
I don't know if it will be viable, but now I want to make a warrior deck called "Passive Aggressive" with a lot of weenie taunts.
T1: Goldshire footman Opponent: ... Noob. Easy win. T2: Annoy-o-tron Opponent: ... No pressure, plenty of time to set up great BM. T3/4: Target dummies, the 0/4 taunt, bolster or double-bolster, attack. Opponent: What the @#$!@%?
Oh it's a gimmick, i'm sure, but c'mon... And that name! It's like Blizzard KNOWS ME.
Or they would IF THEY WOULD CALL ONCE IN A WHILE but it's okay that they don't, they're probably busier with more important things anyway. *makes facebook post: 'I just can't trust any one in my life any more'*
I like that you guys are actually theorycrafting decks here and not only using existing archetypes to justify your opinions. Good job Hearthpwn. I can't believe I just said that.
The idea of a taunt warrior aggro deck makes me warm all over. Keep in mind this thing is in effect a permanent savage roar for 2 mana. Thats pretty damn strong even if the rest of your stuff is weak. Add in battle rage, some weapons for early board control, and you can very easily overrun a player very early on. Probably need something to provide redundancy for the global boost this provides, like a pump wolf or something, but that is a lot of stats for not a lot of mana.

Better than permanent savage roar. because it gives a health bonus. : )

Yeah, just read the Anub'Arak thread. "THIS DOESN"T FIT INTO ANY EXISTING ARCHETYPE, WAHHHHHHH! :'("
It's alright, but we need a few more good and non-conditional taunts to be revealed before I say it's good. Currently cards like Unstable Ghoul and Sludge Belcher would gain a benefit from running this, but often they'll get silenced or destroyed before you could get this card into play against Aggro anyway. Interesting though. Running cards like Target Dummy and Shieldbearer is just asking to be murderized when you don't draw this in your Mulligan, and then get it the turn after you just had your taunts get destroyed as well.
Some synergy with Sunfury Protector and Defender of Argus. The +2 attack is overkill, naturally +1/+3 is ideal but you can't really complain. imo not an impressive card since taunt minions are meh (which makes this card a super meh card).

If this is a card, we'll be seeing a new Warrior archetype.
this card is very strong and will see play in an aggressive deck with cheap taunts.
would be really nice to see a warrior class taunt with a battlecry that gives you armor as well ;)

Would play if it was +1/+3
Target Dummy Shieldbearer meta incoming
I can see it now, a Warrior deck with all taunts and armor cards where you have to deal 100 damage to win the game.

A 3/5 ghoul is scary for me

Turn 4 for your opponent priest: Mass Dispel
I'd laugh so much at it...
This is the meta I dream of.
Turn one: Double Target Dummy into a coined Bolster KREYGASM
