Verry bad body with a uniqoe battlecry....as for now all weapons besides maybe age are pretty terrible but still soe more to go. Maybe one of those will be op enough to make this playable.
I knew they'd give us a way to recover broken legendary weapons. This will likely see play in dragon priest since it's the best legendary weapon right now by far
It is not a card you would play on curve, so the "bad" stats are irrelevant.
It is not a card you would play in a deck with several weapons. You want it to guarantee one specific insanely good weapon.
Exactly. However, I wonder if you even want to do that? It seems greedy beyond belief for most decks. If you obtained any value out of your insanely good weapon the first time, how necessary is it to play it again in most instances?
I don't entirely agree. This still has synergy with Furnacefire Colossus. If you end up drawing weapons and using them, then draw your FC, you can discard whatever weapons you receive back from your Rummaging Kobold. If you run 2x RK, you can keep your hand stocked with weapons to discard. I could see a weapon warrior deck that goes big minions and some taunts etc. Maybe some Pirates with weapon synergy.
I feel pretty certain that discard =/= destroy.
You are correct, but you missed his point.
He wants to equip a weapon, deplete it, get it back, then discard it to power up Furnacefire Colossus. He's not expecting to discard a weapon to Colossus, then get it back and equip it.
But even so, it's a very long path to travel when there are other big minions you can play without so much hassle.
Agreed this line of play is a bit over complicated.
@1xbenx1, The thing about having access to potentially two too three compies of a a really good weapon you want again means you can use what would otherwise be a limited resource more freely.
Or a Pirate Warrior grabbing an extra Rusty Hook or Fiery War Axe?
I think Pirate Warrior has plenty of weapons in its deck to sacrifice a deck slot tempo and what else for this card. Definitely not a candidate for this one :)
An enabler card. Strong enough to allow you to do some degenerate things, but mostly slow so you will usually find this as a dead card. Definition of "Playable".
risky with rouges hero power, but there are some nice weapons you could get with this. depends on deck - ashbringer, Frostmorne, dk's Paly/warrior. As long as it counts those, otherwise . . . .
Picked or random is the question , i believe this is picked , aggro druid is gonna have soo much fun next expansion in case blizzard doesnt introduce more defensive cards.

Right now in "year of the mammoth" this card (and the legendary weapons) may be underwhelming, but once we enter the new season and older sets rotate out I foresee this (and the legendary weapons) being an integral part of the game and a must include for many Meta decks.

When life gives you lemons, trade'em for limes and get some Coronas!
This has potential in any deck with good weapons simply as a solid value card. However, there is one card that is especially insane to bring back, and that is Jade Claws.
Definitely interesting, I'm assuming the weapon returned is a random one from those destroyed. Could be good in pally, even drawing a rallying blade is good, and another ashbringer or uther-sword is decent.

Jade Shaman is back baby!!!
I may actually run this if Jade Claws was a deathrattle effect.
Edit: scratch that I misunderstood this card. It's pretty solid with claws.
BOHOO GARBAGE. Its a great card. Amazing for the classes that dont normally have weapons. 1 3 not even that bad of stats.
1/3 for 3 mana is a terrible statline, you can get a 1/2 for 1.. you probably are comparing to acolyte, the reason that acolyte is good is because of the threat of drawing extra cards if it stays alive mostly in warrior and priest.
a 1/3 you can totally ignore,
I can see this card being useful in the following scenarios:
1. your deck is very reliant on weapons and you don't have anymore good weapons to add to your deck
2. your legendary weapon is of big value/importance and you want a gurantee on having it. (also makes aetish usable again)
3. you play evolve shaman and you want a way to get a 3rd jade claws and you got a way to evolve the body, still don't think that you would play it in evolve shaman since it's a low tempo card...

I agree. So much so that these scenario's are good enough to make this card NOT bad. Even before we see the rest of the set.
I'd like to point out a few other weapons that I wouldn't mind having another of. Grave Vengeance or Ashbringer would be good pulls too. Even Frostmourne wouldn't be bad.
Impressive card without impressive stats.
Turn 10 this then weapon face with gorehowl.. hehe hehe

Great in control Paladin tbh. IN the late game you can keep smashing with Ashbringer and Grave Vengeance

So THIS is why Fiery Win Axe was nerfed. Understandable.

Ibn Fahd.
How is this card not Meta-Defining! If there's a weapon-heavy meta, this card will be run in most decks AT LEAST as 1 of.
