Since this is the only warlock beast card, and class cards show up most of the time with the discover mechanic, does this mean we will have almost 100% chance to discover this through tomb spider?
Yes.
Wild Tomb Spider Discolock meta incoming.

What's funny is this card is actually also great in discard zoo as well as the new discard control archetype. Awesome card, love it. Potentially means we have 3 archetypes for warlock at a time.
Well, i don't like it being legendary, it's overrated. It would be better if they made it a regular card that you can have two of, with a bonus of +1/+1 per discard. This one's warning you to prepare your removal with every discard.
Discardlock - the story of how the deck with the least RNG impact became another flip a coin arhetype.
Discardlock has always been heavily reliant on rng.
I think he refered to the old Zoolock (with a bunch of 1 drops, sea giant and Leeroy finisher) which was one of the most consistent deck in HS history.
I think you meant disco-NO-Handlock :D But seriously this looks a little bit broken. You have three cards in starting hand and one is 100% quest. So imagine having this and Malchezaars imp. Next turn you draw soulfire and second turn you just imp soulfire for value (50% but what :D)
This is the kind of card it takes to push discardlock.
EDIT: It seems like there's a lot of uninformed opinions on here regarding the point of this card. Yeah it can get Hexed, SWD'd, Sapped etc, but the thing is you can get value out of it even if it doesn't land a single attack, because it's main role is to serve as recurring discard fodder. We've always had the issue in Discardlock of your Soulfires discarding your Doomguards etc, which could potentially lead to the Warlock Quest being unfulfilled. This card ensures that you will always have a discard target in hand, and the stat boosts are just a bonus. Another way to read this effect is "when this card is in your hand, your Doomguards and Soulfires might only discard 1 or 0 cards respectively instead". That's outstanding for cheating card costs, especially if you need to fire off a tempo Soulfire early on. It also makes your Malchezaar's Imp straight up draw a card. Honestly this card could warrant consideration in discolock even if it didn't get any buffs. Think about it as Sinister Serpent in Yugioh http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Sinister_Serpent , which was banned for over a decade for having such powerful hand-interaction, and needed to be nerfed with an errata to get off the banlist.
Wasnt this concept used in a fan creation card competition? It looks super familiar. Maybe im thinking of Crok Scourgebane but im pretty sure it was discard themed.
People doesn't understand importance of this card they totally focused on +2+2 buff but why would you play this card from your hand and increase chances to discard wrong card seriously playing this card from your hand last thing that you should consider to do. By the way I don't give a damn shit about quest only way to play it is in a midrange deck and there is not much minions to support midrange warlock.

Well, I one of make some posts there, most negative are correct with information we have, this card alone make the quest many times better because solve your major problem, running out of cards before you able to complete the quest.

The beast tag is maybe the most significant thing about this card. Discomenageriezoo incoming for sure.

Who's the Beatdown?
i think YoYo Lock woud be great name for deck with this card. :)
For people who know YGO, this is pretty close to sinister serpent, one of the best cards ever released.

If you ever played yugioh this is a SInister serpent albeit a little bit worse since you can't choose to discard it with the effects
and for the ones that played pokemon, this is those damn annoying exxeggcutes all over again.

BY THE HOLY LIGHT! this card is strong.
I really don't like that discard is now becoming something positive, they are supposed to be a downside mechanic.
