just curious what your top 3 favorite decks have been to play since KFT launched, and why.
At the end, maybe post which decks you WISH were viable, and are fun, but don't quite cut it at least semi-competitively.
My top 3;
1. Demonlock with BOTH Jaraxxus and Gul'dan DK - so much fun to drop the DK and summon a bunch of demons. It's often good enough to stall until you can life gain all the life you need to survive. Also have some fun wacky combos (prince 3 can mimic the Lich king if he lives for a turn, or a dreadlord and spray the opponents board 3 times). Defile is amazing, and the Aggro players I've played against haven't been that great at playing around it!
2. Razakus Priest - the machine gun is amazing! The best part of this deck is the ability to crush Jade Druid so efficiently. Also, every game plays out a little differently, using discover mechanics, utilizing singleton cards to your advantage by having lots of tech and surprise cards!
3. Hand-Buff Paladin (close to Kibler's list, a few things changed). - this deck is so fun. So many decision points which frankly makes or breaks the games. If you draw prince 2 in the mulligan or by turn 2 your winrate is improved by 14-15%! So it's kind of a high roll deck, but also not at the same time. Using minions as soft removal (black knight, spellbreaker, lifesteal champion guy).
Decks I WISH were viable (or I'm just not good with them yet).
1. Kill em all Warrior (missing rotface).
2. Highlander Warlock. Cant seem to make it work, re summoning 1x dread lord and voidwalker just isn't enough.
3. Control paladin. No build I've tried has over a 40% WR and I hate knowing it's an auto loss to jades if I don't draw Geist (and pallys card draw sucks right now).
let me know your guys thoughts and own experiences in addition to mine!
2. Jade Druid- So overpowered that i can let my dog grind the 100g a day :)
3. Exodia Mage- Drawing cards all day and just freezing the board. Doesnt matter what opponent play as long as my draw is good.
This is the reason we can't have nice things.
So i've made a scale of true evil's in this world, correct me if i'm wrong: Hitler (Nominated for nobel peace prize in early 1939 so not all that bad) > You dropped your oreo into milk (One of the worst feelings in the world) > And worst one of them all people who play Jade Druid and Pirate Warrior.
2. Jade Druid- So overpowered that i can let my dog grind the 100g a day :)
3. Exodia Mage- Drawing cards all day and just freezing the board. Doesnt matter what opponent play as long as my draw is good.
Hey, it's hearthstone, you can play whatever you want. But honestly, I think those 3 decks would be voted the "least fun" to play against. I'm glad you enjoy them, however!
Edit: I would like to ask, are you interested in this game just to win? Do you not enjoy trying new things and being creative? Not trying to be an ass, I'm genuinely asking, I would be so bored playing those archetypes. Exodia mage is the highest skill ceiling of those 3 decks, but people hate it because they feel like they have one option - that's to vomit their hand onto the board and rush you down before you reach your combo and can freeze the board every single turn. I'm curious, besides winrate; what draws you to these decks?

Funny thing, retards think they are smart because they can win with quest mage.
Funniest decks:
1. Ramp Druid: since launch of KFT, I made my own version of this deck (no deathwings and shit, and with the Hadronox) and it feels so good to put big minions fast, cause I'm a greedy player. Also, it's nice to win with something you putted dedication and not simple netdecked.
2. Tempo Elemental mage: the deck is good and Jaina is insane, love to heal all the time.
3. I didn't play other deck, but surely I will try some N'Zoth Pally.
1) Jade Druid - I resisted trying this archetype but crafted the last few cards I needed on the last season day to try to break the rank I was stuck at. I picked it up today and played 8 games, lost 2, 1 was a mirror vs a better draw & ramp and the other one was vs a quest mage and I was 1 turn away from beating him. It has a little decision making but if you get it right it's just so rewarding and makes you feel invincible while playing. It's a great deck for someone who suffers from ranked anxiety like myself. Sometimes I feel like I'm fighting the rope instead of my oponent. THIS DECK WILL GET NERFED.
2) Razakus priest - Overall strong deck that rewards good plays and decision making. It's nic eto feel like you have a win condition as a priest for once!
3) DK Rexxar and Jaina draw. Both card's mechanics are so much fun to play and can make for some spectacular reversals when you are loosing. Sadly they are far from top tier and are both assuming you play very long games wich end up hurting your laddering experience.
DK rexxar is indeed a BLAST. I lost to a Jaina deck today, I got him to 3 hp and he climbed back. That's what's the deck is supposed to do, though :) they're both a lot of fun, and have a ton of potential (in future expansions).
As to the quest mage comment, I'm not sure if it takes less skill than pirate warrior, but it's certainly close (although if you watch a pro play pirate warrior, it's significantly better than an average player). But I agree it's solitaire. Hearthstone DOES need more than just "curve out," decks to keep things fresh and keep variety - but nobody likes playing against quest Mage. Nobody. It literally is solitaire.
Edit: my comment was serious, not a joke. Unless you meant the other guy was joking. Just trying to keep the thread positive and flame proof - as difficult as that can be, lol.
Definitely Thief Rogue, followed closely by DK Hunter (endgame is a blast), and although not the winning-est deck... Moorabi Shaman is a silly kind of fun.
I did a thief rogue that Kibler built, and it carries such interesting games. I've done super well against hunter and mage.
3. a random experiment i did with Howlfiend, honestly it's possivble the deck just needs one more silverware golem card to start being something...not top tier but at least a meme worth trying.
I've been devoting myself to building a Murloc Paladin deck this expansion, and it has been very interesting to play even though it still isn't finished (I still need Finja, the Flying Star, Tirion Fordring, and a second Vilefin Inquisitor). It is more challenging than I expected, since I have to be especially protective of my minions, but the rewards for playing it correctly are a large array of very powerful minions.
I also enjoy the new version of Jade Druid that has arisen lately, since it has an almost obscene amount of options at its disposal.
I also enjoy Zoo Warlock. I've had a soft spot for that deck since Journey to Un'goro, and Prince Keleseth is strong enough to win the game on his own.
3.) Miracle Rogue (trying to come up with my own build)
As far as decks I wish were good. There's really none, but I wish I had Moorabi for a freeze shaman deck and Archbishop Benedictus for a Steal all your stuff priest deck. Even if they sucked I feel like I could have fun with those decks.

Standard
Jade Druid - I've been playing and loving jade druid since it was a tier 3 peice of crap getting beat on by pirate shamans in early MSG. It saddens me that just about anyone can play it now. It's a high skill cap deck but due to the broken cards available, missplays and bad lines are almost never punished. On the bright side, the fact that it became busted this expansion means I can get away with playing meme cards like Hadronox and N'zoth in it
Memeidictus Priest - Almost reminds me of 2015 priest, my main back then. Also memes
Value-Oriented Miracle Rogue - Featuring Elise and DK for those extra packs
Wild
Burst-Oriented Razakus Priest - Featuring Nexxus champ, Lyra and recruiter to fuel the extra pings
Patron Druid - The least obvious hard counter to jade and plague druid
Naga/Giants Druid - Exploits a recent, undocumented patch change to naga sea witch. Typical turn 5 consists of naga, followed by several 0 mana gaints

Bitch i'm Willy Wonka!
1. Nzoth hunter
2. Raza priest (I don't have the deathknight or Kazakhs though lol)
3. Murloc Pally

1. Control Paladin
2. Control Paladin
3. Control Paladin
so much fun, but terrible because of jades
What if one day you woke up and Big Game Hunter and Hemet Nesingwary switched card texts...
1. Deck in signature
2. Exodia Paladin
3. a random experiment i did with Howlfiend, honestly it's possivble the deck just needs one more silverware golem card to start being something...not top tier but at least a meme worth trying.
1. Barnes Priest
2. Jade Druid
3. Devolve Shaman

1. A Weapon/Pirate Rogue (missing Patches). Unpacked a golden Doomerang and felt obligated to make this.
2. A Control Demonlock with the DK in Wild. Crafted Mal'Ganis just for this deck. Games are so freaking rewarding.
3. A Dragon/Thief/Elemental Priest. Yes, this actually does win sometimes. Very fun deck because each path can win you the game.

Control mage was fun, control warrior was fun and highlander raza-dk was passable.
Too bad they all suck. Well, control mage is alright.... probably decent for 5.
I've been using a Wild Priest deck with a ton of removal and Archbishop Benedictus. You either run them out of fuel or just steal their win condition.
