You should get full dust refund for the nerfed cards.
Also, maybe craft cards and decks you like, instead of blowing all of your dust on tier 1 net decks.
I have a decent collection now (almost all the cards) just from playing a lot, pre ordering every expansion since Nax, and not crafting things right after expansions come out.
But seriously, don’t just craft net decks. It’s much more satisfying to win with your own creations, and you’ll better understand the cards you crafted, because they fit your play style (Johnny, Timmy, Spike).
Yeah, i had him in my deck at first, really wanted to try him. I found that In every single game, i had better playS... so i never actually played him onto the board (except once against my little bro when i had lethal showing and was just messing around). The idea is cool, but too much RnG.
Azalena Soulthief however has helped me win many games in odd Paladin haha.
I've found that Genn paladin is a lot more powerful haha, and more fun to play *ducks under flying tomatoes*. I am tired of seeing paladin dominate the top tier of meta decks though haha. I really expected rush tempo decks to push silver hand paladin down, but boy was I wrong. There's just too many people trying to ding dong around with Shudderwock shaman still, and paladins are just feasting on them.
Yep, all kinds of Paladin is strong right now. My build has multiple 8 drops and is much more midrange but still insanely good!
I agree with the others that have said Genn aka EVEN Paladin is even stronger than odd Paladin. You know what cards to play around against odd/even pally which is nice. Meta hasn’t settled yet but the Werewolf will end up beating the Mooneater (at least as far as Pally is concerned).
For me i had great luck in pack openings and quite a bit of diversity. The gold i saved and the pre purchase gave me enough to make any decks i want pretty much!
Taunt Baku warrior wasn’t as good as i thought it would be, but still decently fun.
Quest Hunter was a blast but i don’t think it’s compeditive viable yet.
Taunt Druid was a lot of fun, using 3 beasts - hadronox and the grizzlies. My theory is that you drop the bears vs aggro, but if you need multiple Hadronox summons vs a slow control deck then you hold them for witching hour. Been a lot of fun and worked very well so far!
i made an Even Dragon Paladin and it’s not only been a blast, I’m 13-2 with it. Turns out a 6 mana silver sword is pretty OP. Maybe it’s just because i qued into 60% cubelocks, I’m not sure, but this deck wrecks them and most other stuff i was up against! The extra hero power every other turn plus the guaranteed minion on the board every game (turn 1) is pretty sweet!
so I’ve been trying a bunch of stuff, but i have to clock on in 20 minutes and I’m wondering what you guys have been having fun with so far?
I mean you could still run them, one or both, depending on how aggressive the meta is. Vs control don’t play your malfurion until you’ve already used Witching Hour twice?
Yeah, you should not be able to discover a secret that you already have in play. The battlecry would likely not go off at all if (somehow) you already have a full Christmas tree up.
Something as big as bringing graveyard to hearthstone would have been announced with the rest of the mechanics of the expansion. So, no. Graveyard is not coming.
Kinda silly to assume that. They won’t necessarily reveal all mechanics, because they don’t want to spoil cards by showing a mechanic without the cards.
He is pretty right, if they had a feature like graveyard or exile or something, they’d announced it because they always do. Rather silly to assume the opposite.
They always do? Are you sure of this? They’ve never hidden anything until mid way through or the end?
and your little dig at the end towards me is not only unwarranted but also incorrect. Just playing devils advocate, and i did not ever say that i thought they would introduce it, or “assume” that.

At least Tarim and Divine Favor CAN be trash in certain situations (opponent has board, or less cards than you). Call to arms is ridiculously OP, and i say this as a paladin main. There’s no other reason to ever run any other card draw because it’s so poor in comparison... small time recruits, holy wrath, the 4 mana spell that draws a card and deals 3 damage, etc.
they all become useless now, and any new paladin card needs to be ridiculously powerful to even be CONSIDERED to use...

Well said OP, although it seems like decisions matter less than usual (most games), at least there’s plenty of viable decks for us finally!
