Since I started playing Hearthstone, there has always been a deck I've wanted to play, for whatever reason. I took this month off on the ladder but am now looking at hitting it again when the season resets. Looking over the current list of competitive decks, I see several that look interesting, but none that jump out at me, so I figured I'd crowdsource the decision.
Not Tier 1 but Miracle Priest is one of the most fun deck the class itself has ever had. Actually really enjoying it, I don't care if it's not the faster to rank up or the best in the meta actually.

I have been flerting with the idea of playing preist, it seems to have so many interestng decks right now, but all of them would drain my dust reserves :(
there are no good enough boardclears nor heals or value minions in standard for me to build a deck around them to counter aggro / tempo and even have a decent match up vs midrange... there are nothing els than powerful low cost minion curve decks
I'm playing my own variation of control pally and reached rank 5 at least. Works out even without netdecking. It's really funny if you know every card your opponent could play and use this to beat them. If at least some others would recognize. ^^
I've had a lot of fun with Token Druid, though for the sake of my sanity I'm considering switching since it can get very streak-y. Made it to Rank 1 just in time to hit a handful of heavy Control matchups that just wrecked me lol.

However as a f2p i can't let that juicy 550 dust at the end of the month,so i will be using murlocdin to reach at least rank 5 on the first weekend of the month and then i will be done with the game for the rest of the season(just doing quest every 3 days).I will keep an eye on this site however because a new deck might pop up that i might like or simply gives me some new idea to try.
Generally though this is the 2cd expansion in row that's a bummer for us who enjoy deckbuilting...Everything is restricted.Does this deck beat quest rogue?Nope?Too bad,If it does, how does it do against aggro decks? So in the end can build very few decks that are actually viable even less fun.And no,having different skins for the same smorc or midface decks doesn't mean we have diversity.
I beg the differ about the deckbuilder thing, i'm an absolute cheapskate only using gold for arena this expansion, yet i reached 5 without using a single ungoro legendary or even epic. Reached rank 8 using a shoddy jade shaman i made up myself, using only ungoro common low elementals for early game (tolvir, spring guardian, volatile, firefly and a tar) it absolutely wrecked aggro decks while outvaluing taunt warrior and pure elemental enabling my climb. Was going to quit there after facing a lot of quest rogue but found an excellent beast hunter i used with some personal tweaks and fill ins to get to 5 in just a few hours. Feels great.
Kibler's Highlander Priest with Lyra, Raza, Kazakus, and Medivh. It's a slightly inconsistent, being a highlander deck, but is pretty skill intensive, and with the flex spots, can potentially beat most decks in the meta. I even came pretty close to beating a quest warrior, which typically is pretty unfavored for a control Priest deck.

Life before death. Strength before weakness. Journey before destination.

So, what's new, competitive, AND fun to play?
me personally, loving quest warrior and murlocadin.
have played some discardlock, also fun but not so consistent, quest rogue, pirate warrior and next I will try the control pally.
Cheers,

For what profit is it to a man, if he gains the world and loses his own soul?
I have been enjoying dragon priest lately.
Has enough early game control to deal with pirate warrior using Shadow Word: Pain and Potion of Madness.
Runs two Dragonfire Potions which can save you against Quest Rogue and other control matchups.
Has the value/flexibility with Lyra, Shadow Visions, Netherspite Historian, and Drakonid Operative.
It's a lot of fun if you enjoy playing a control style deck and don't want to lose by turn 4 to the aggro decks.
I don't like any tier decks right now, they are all boring and brainless
Jade N'zoth rogue
This post made me realise i don't actually play any competitive deck.
I am actually enjoying my homebrew Water Quest Rogue and Velen Purify Priest. And i'm trying to fix a Malygos Garden Rogue for Wild.
There. Pure netdecking is not for me.

Pirate warrior I just love going face
Elemental Shaman and Paladin....fun to play them
I love playing beasts :) Hunter brought me to rank 5 today for the first time, very fun deck :D
Question everything.
I have been climbing with Control Priest, I have yet to really try "Miracle Priest" but it looks fun.

Who's the Beatdown?
Ive made a burgle buccaneer rogue (with luckydo, obsidian shard and the burgle type cards). WR is about 50% in casual. Lots of fun though!
None #feelsbadman :(
