Play on tur 1 into coin feral spirit or without coin into totem golem.
So in first case you have 3/3 tunnel trogg and two 2/3 taunts. Turn 3 is dead pretty much(eventualy lighting bolt to remove enemy minnion).turn 4 fireguard destroyer Idk but seems like we got a tempo shammy :D

[card]Acidic Swamp Ooze[/card] plop hmmm..... You win this one, friend.
It's easy to compare this to mana wyrm. I think it's actually a bit better
Why is that? Is it easier to overload instead of casting spells? I 'd say that mana wyrm is better. Especailly when taking overload effect in consideration, a turn after you may not be able to play another overload, whereas with spells you can use them on ever turn.
This card makes up for the tempo loss from overload on the next turn because it gets attack equal to the overloaded crystals. Turn 1 this into Golem and you have a 2/3 and a 3/4 and you can play Golem again or crackle. You can still play another one on turn 3 or Rockbiter if you overloaded for 2 and turn 2 and make it a 3/3. The most important part is that this card can shift be put in a deck trying to aggro or control under certain conditions, which seems fitting for Shaman with their huge burst potential.
Mana Wyrm needs you to play it on turn one and then play a spell. A lot of the times you just go to turn 3 with a 2/3.
I really like the idea of a tempo shaman, the only worries I am having are if it is yet confirmed if the +1 effect takes place at the same turn the Overload card is played, or the turn the crystals are locked. I will get really salty if it is the second.

They are overloaded the turn after. The little locks, "lock" the crystals the next turn actually if I am not completely mistaken.
It says "Whenever you overload gain +X Attack" meaning you get it the turn you play a card that has overload. "Per locked Mana Crystal" is the value indicator for how much you get the attack bonus which means it's just their way of saying "for each overload value the card had".

You are right, I will go berserk if they screw this one :D
Didn't shaman need more lavashocks? Not more cards that ramp when you cripple yourself with overload? Overload is still terrible, this won't wont fix the problem.

Does anyone else find the wording ambiguous? "per locked mana crystal" may mean:
The number of crystal that become locked because you played a card
The number of crystal that are locked (with the symbol below the crystal) after you played a card.
If I have a trogg on board and play [crackle]x2, will I have 3 (+1 and then +1) attack or 4 (+1 and then +2 because 2 crystals are locked after playing the second crackle?)

Exactly as ugly as they were in WoW. Sweet!
Its ok i think?
"... but not less than (1)" is needed now more than ever!
This into totemgolem is a nice curve, good card, also gives reason for turn 2 ancestral knowlege. Good design!

Tunnel Troggs rule!
Very good card, works well with totem golem dream as well as early lightning bolt removal. Reminds me of mana wyrm.

Wait a sec.. the dream: tunnel trogg coin dust devil :D 3/3 + 3/1 windfury (dust devil is still terrible :P)

Lava Shock works for this turn and the next. I wonder if Tunnel Trogg does too?!!
Seems unlikely, as the card is powerful enough without this boost.

Coin this and Dust Devil, get a 3/1 windfury AND a 3/3! Also, opponent can only choose one to remove next turn!
