posted a message on Druid is virtually unbeatable and this needs to be changed fast
    Quote from liyicky >>

Druid is not the problem. 3 years ago, the best aggro decks had 2 health minions. Holy Nova used to be a good card.

Now even Dragon Fire Potion is not enough because if a single card survives you will lose the game. Look at midrange decks like Murloc Pally and Shaman. These decks are absolutely insane. You think that if Druid was gone that people would not play these decks?

Look at pirate warrior. The only way to win is for the warrior to draw bad AND for you to draw perfectly. What does this have to do with druid? It's a miracle that a late game deck like druid can stand a chance vs those decks (A 50% chance..)

Anyone who is complaining about Druids are new players who never faced Mid/Aggro shaman.

They definitely didn't play against Undertaker Hunter or they would of died from a brain anurism. Imaging when a hunter played a card on turn 1 and you lose the game. That's what the meta was. So please. Let's stop complaining about druid which have some 55% win rate deck. Guys, that's a coin toss. Jesus Christ

Are you insane? Turn one now is innervate innervate bittertide hydra, or innervate fledgeling, and they still can't beat jade druid. Undertaker hunter would be demolished by the current druid decks and the only reason it is 55% win rate, is because it has to play against itself.

posted a message on 0:3 in evey single arena run despite heartharena

I'm just going to start with the biggest mistakes players make when they are new.

    1) Placing too much emphasis on face damage. Face damage is worth nothing in arena without a ton of burst. 99% of arena decks will not have that burst. In arena you want as many stats on the board as possible.

I will explain the best way to get as many stats, as fast as possible as well with mentioning another mistake

    2) Misusing removal. Removal should never be used face in the early game. NEVER. Frostbolt, fireball and spells like this etc should be used on minions in almost every scenario in order to protect your own minions. Each minion does upwards of 3+ damage a turn so if you get minions on board and can keep them there, not only do you get to trade into your opponent minions however you want (allowing you to kill their minions and have yours live to kill another minion, meaning you just got 2 cards for their 1), you get to push tons of face damage after their board is clear.

    3) Misusing coin. Do not use coin if you don't have a follow up curve card. If your hand is a 2 mana card, 3 mana card 4 mana card and it's the first turn and you coin out the 2 drop turn one. You have screwed yourself. The coin is supposed to save you from the tempo loss of going second, if you use the coin to get out a 2 drop on turn one and you don't have another 2 drop, you are now down 1 mana for the rest of the game and you don't even have a good turn 2. What this means is that the opponent will catch up if they have their own 2 drop, and then for the rest of the game they will have 1 mana more than you on every turn.

    4) Bad mulligans. Always mulligan for 1-2 mana cards. The reason it is so terrible to not draw your early game early is that you will topdeck it in the late game when you need it, and then you're screwed again because the opponent will be topdecking 8 drops and you will be topdecking 2 drops. The mulligan is one of the biggest factors in helping you win. Having an early game curve is essential to establishing board control.

I can go way more in depth, but understanding these concepts should at least prevent 0-3s.

If you're going for pure competitive viability, you can hit legend in 1 day from a fresh account (if you're good enough). But that would involve dusting all the cards you get to make one deck, if you're looking to make a good collection, I'm not sure exactly how much money you would need to put in.

I Don't even think that's possible even for a pro player, nonetheless and new player. Hitting legend on the same day of creating a new account WITHOUT spending any money is nearly impossible for the following reasons.
    1. You only get 5 classic packs from completing all the tutorials and secret quests.
    2. You only get about 300 gold (including secret quests) to spend on Arena and packs.
    3. Even if you go infinite in arena, it would take more than 24 hours to grind up enough dust to create a decent deck. This is even if you can constantly average 7+ wins per run.
    4. No matter how much you grind you can't make more than 100 + (daily quest reward) gold in a day.
    5. You only get 3 (maybe 6) frozen throne packs, so you're still missing cards from every other set currently in standard.
Several people do this every expansion, this was done by multiple people on reddit just a week ago.

Why not just play Astral ?

If you're going to build your whole deck around 2 cards better go big right ?

Astral requires you to discard your hand and then pray on a topdeck, with naga you can spam 8-8s for free while still having a hand.

He is extremely powerful, he is way better than the other dks with this current card pool. I mean by far, and anyone who says he is bad is statistically illiterate.

posted a message on Druid is virtually unbeatable and this needs to be changed fast

I maintained 79.6% win rate to rank 5, dropped to 58.1% to legend with jade druid, but It felt like I was winning non-stop honestly. If you had a bad run with jade druid you either got really unlucky (possible in 30 games I suppose) played a ton of mirrors (to get close to 50%) or the most likely situation is you were misplaying like mad. Anyway, after playing the deck i feel like there's virtually no weaknesses to it. You can only lose to bad luck or getting high-rolled from lucky decks. Murloc paladin and aggro druid are the only decks I felt I'd probably lose to during the run (besides mirror matches which I lost a little less than half the time).

wtf, aya sees play only in jade druid

patches is only played in PW and in rogue but rogue is dead.

stonehill defender is anoying but sees only play in paladin and in dead quest warrior

Patches is played in zoo warlock, aggro/token druid, aggro paladin, token shaman, pirate warrior and rogue decks. So not really

posted a message on Legend rank
    Quote from Nizhaz >>

Okay thanks, so on that assumption, if I was at 200 a couple of hours ago and haven't played since, I should be at a worse rank legend now - say 300? However, if I don't play for the next 24 hours and then win my first game I play after that, I would still expect to achieve below 200 after that win. Am I wrong thinking that?

It depends how far you fall, so possibly not . If you fall to rank 300 over the next 24 hours due to average expected rank decay, then win a game against a legend rank 350, you will not go below 200 almost for sure (because you rarely gain enough mmr from a win against a lower ranked opponent to jump that many ranks). So no, you may not reach below the rank you are at now if you play one game at the last minute and win one game after sitting for a day.

You don't keep your rank, other people will pass you all the time of course. Although you will never fall out of legend until the end of the season.
