"it's very often the case that 2 minions remain on the board, who also very likely have Deathrattle attached to them (think stickiness of Haunted Creeper etc.), whileUndertaker is likely removed, because it poses more of an immediate threat. Then you use Feign Death, get theirDeathrattle triggered, while you also can trade your minions off in that turn to gain even more Deathrattle effects. It's a vast tempo swing in your favor and will likely cause you to win."
Is is really that strong, though? For example, in the scenario you used, you just paid 2 mana for 2/2 worth of stat split between two 1/1s and a secret, meaning you essentially just paid for a Mad Scientist that is more fragile and has no protection on death, but goes faster. In addition in this scenario, either the Undertaker is not removed (In which case an Animal Companian seems better) or it has been removed but the board is clear...so why not instead go for something like Animal Companian, Eaglehorn Bow, Houndmaster on the Haunted Creeper (You can't have Creeper + Scientist out and have Feign Death ready before T4 unless you coin one out T1, which makes it hard for one to survive) or whatnot, especially since those do more and are less situational in DR hunter? Or even Golem/Shattered/Dark Iron. What's worth taking out? That's good, but it is not that good, and also requires you to run more traps to make up for potential Scientist + Feign Death.
Other combos are Haunted Creeper + Loot Hoarder (2 mana for two 1/1s and draw a card: Solid but slower decks would like it more), Loot Hoarder + Webspinner (2 mana draw a card and add a random beast to your hand: Possibly the jackpot as a +1 that can give you something else to play with it), Haunted Creeper + Leper Gnome (2 mana two 1/1s, deal 2 to the enemy hero, that's fine), Leper Gnome + Loot Hoarder (2 mana, deal 2 damage to the enemy and draw a card...bleh), and so on and so forth.
I see this being a one of in a control hunter deck. Will be used on sneeds old shredder, sylvanas, possibly even the two minions that summon Thaddius. This card will change games quickly mid/late game. Looking forward to using it.

Just remember, the F&S deathrattles don't do anything unless one of the two has already died.
This seems like it's almost always better than Reincarnate, which when played, is done so for the utility of triggering powerful deathrattles twice, rather than the full heal or anti-silence. This card does that...for ALL of your minions, instead of just one, and for the same cost...
Dont forget that Reincarnate also heals your target and removes all negative effects on it
And....Blizz buffs the hell out of Hunter yet again.
No, blizzard buffs CONTROL hunter. You see any control hunters running around lately? Probably not. With this card, and the other cards in this expansion, you should see some. This is good for the game.

Yea it also removes taunt and any buffs too, as well as giving the minion summon sickness.
"This seems like more a control card than an aggro card and you're viewing it in the vacuum of today's current flavour of the season face-deck."
I was literally replying to someone who was suggesting putting it in today's face Hunter deck, that's why I quoted at the start of the post (I didn't quote his whole post for space) and only talked about it in that context.

In what way is the existing Undertaker DR Hunter a control deck? It's a variant of the current face Hunter deck, that I expect to become the strongest variant, thanks to this card. Turn 6 Savannah Highmane, turn 7 get two 2/2s for 2 mana, still have 5 mana to work with, and have a Savannah Highmane on the board which still has its deathrattle? Similar shenanigans with Harvest Golem, Cairne Bloodhoof, Sylvanas Windrunner, Nerubian Egg, Explosive Sheep.
Not to mention that the Piloted series will safely summon a random minion for 2 mana - in the case of Sneed's Old Shredder and Piloted Sky Golem the value is insane, because a 4 mana minion for 2 mana without positive deathrattles is good value, and a 4-cost for 2 without negative deathrattles is insane value. This is only compounded with Sneed's Old Shredder.
I just think it's funny. Aside from all the metagame implications, it's freakin hilarious that they're putting this in the game.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
Hearthstone is a math game. If you think it's overpowered, do the math, compare it to other similar cards, and then if it doesn't all add up, complain about it being overpowered.
If you had a Nerubian Egg and an Explosive Sheep on the board and played Feign Death do you wind up with 2 Nerubians? One egg deathrattle triggered by feign death and then the egg is killed by the sheep's deathrattle for a total of 2?
And, come to think of it, does the sheep's deathrattle kill itself, resulting in it's deathrattle to trigger a second time, dealing a total of 4 damage to all minions, and thus killing the newly summoned nerubians?

... I have confused myself.
Feign Death triggers deathrattles - One Nerubian summons and Sheep tirggers --Nerubian takes 2 damage, Egg takes 2 damage, Sheep takes 2 damage. Egg and Sheep dies ---Deathrattles trigger again, new Nerubian summoned, and Sheep explodes ----1st Nerubian dies, second takes 2 damage, is now a 4/2

The oldest card on board activate first, so It's true if egg was first. Otherwise u will get 2 dmg first, and then u will get nerubian, so u can end with 2x 4/2 Nerubians.

Note that timing will matter here btw. If the sheep came out first then the Nerubian wouldn't be up by the time the explosion happens, thus the result would go lilke this
-Sheep explodes, kills egg and sheep. Nerubian is summoned from first deathrattle.
-Sheep explodes, Nerubian dealt 2 damage. Nerubian2 is summoned
Result: 4 damage to field + 4/2 and 4/4 nerubian.
What a difference play order makes.
Overall, though, sheep would be a bad card for hunter. Egg would be too actually. An egg with just 1 way of activating, even if such a way is powerful, is rather...meh. Better to just put in some other deathrattle card.
As far as the card itself.. too slow for aggro hunter. Just about any card they currently have would be worth more than, effectively, 2 1/1s or a 2/1, or even the 2 2/2s.
For the possible control.. yes. Very much yes. Just ONE of the pilots being hit with it would bring crazy value, as it's effectively a 2 mana 'create random 2 drop' at worst. Very much time for a deathrattle mech control hunter, especially if they go defensive board control and jsut let their hero power be the aggression.
Note that this wont' sync as well in a control beast ramp deck, which is hat that Call for help is..well.. calling for.
I don't really see how this card is as good in current Hunter decks as people are hyping it up to be. Reincarnate is powerful with great deathrattles; minions like Nerubian Egg, Cairne, Sylvanas or Highmane. Of these only one ever sees play in the current Hunter decks, and some Hunter decks even cut that card out.
Yes, it can be quite powerful when your board is swarmed with smaller deathrattle minions. People described great situations where you have about 4 deathrattle minions on board and this card is very powerful. Now what do we call that? A win more card. Fact is, when your board is Undertaker + 3 deathrattle minions on turn 4, it's very likely that your opponent has already lost. You might speed up their death by a turn with this card, but that's not really providing you any overall advantage. If you hardly have any deathrattles on board, the value actually isn't great because most of the deathrattles are so low value (activating 2 average Hunter deathrattles with this card is pretty balanced for 2 mana). If you have no deathrattles, it's actually a dead card, which is really bad because Hunters don't play those (look at King Krush; it's a good card, but never played because Hunters can't fit a card that will be dead in hand before turn 9, and sometimes even after turn 9). Also, a big part of the value of deathrattles is in buffing Undertaker. In current Hunters this is mostly a card that's good when you're already way ahead and bad if you have little board control, and that's not all that exciting.
As for a new type of midrange Hunter, that's where I could see much better potential with this card. Activating Cairne's or Sylvanas' or Savannah Highmane's deathrattles with this is solid value, and any extra deathrattles are a nice bonus. Of course, if you're playing bigger minions and a heavier curve, you're a lot less likely to have tons of deathrattles on board, so it's not gonna be that much better than Reincarnate (with the minor downside that it can't do a lot of the things Reincarnate can). Really, every card released so far seems to favour a midrange/control Hunter. I'm not sure any of these would actually improve the aggro one, which is nice to see.
Ah I see. Was confused about the timing/order of deathrattles. Thanks for clearing that up for me.
Mech control hunter would be awesome. In addition to the pilots, Harvest Golem becoming a mech would help it fit into that deck nicely. So much potential value with Feign Death.
Oh I agree. But you don't run it in a deck for that reason - you run Reincarnate for the utility of triggering a powerful deathrattle twice. And if that's your aim, then this is better, since it targets all your minions.
Healing and anti-silence is useful, but I rarely use Reincarnate for that - I tend to save it for combo with a powerful deathrattle, since that tends to be the stronger play.
This card is disgustingly overpowered. Reincarnate does it to one minion and at least kills it first. Feign Death does it to all minions and it doesn't kill them. And there is no downside because it only triggers your deathrattles and not your opponents, and again, your deathrattle creatures don't die. And a 2 cost for this? Considering the deathrattles Hunter decks can and do tend to run, this card is even more stupid. You could not have picked a worse class to give this to.

Oh great!! EVEN MORE HUNTERS!!
Put your faith in the Lock. *Desideratus Bellum*
Having hunters is good. They keep handlock in check.....in other news, I hate playing against handlock.
Yea it also removes taunt and any buffs too, as well as giving the minion summon sickness.

Explosive Sheep+Feign Death=4mana, 2 card Flamestrike, assuming you have an empty board
