Maly Rogue is very weak in Wild. All the GvG Deathrattle cards that summon a minion (Shredders, Belchers, etc...) are just very hard for Rogue to deal with. This is the main reason why Rogue was the least played class before the launch of Standard. (And, for those who don't remember, it was BY FAR the least-played class!) There was a time that Rogue was not in the meta, and it wasn't even that long ago.
I hear everyone's comments on how Rogue can do a lot with very little, but this is still frustrating. Thistle Tea is almost exactly a worse Cabalist's Tome ; Jade Shuriken is almost exactly a worse Jade Lightning (yes, it is cheaper, but both are 1dmg-for-1mana but the Shuriken only summons a Golem when combo'd). Similarly, both Druid and Shaman got three class Jade cards, while Rogue only got two, and neither of those uses Battlecry, which both of the neutral Jade cards use.
I would say they should've added Auctioneer to the HoF with Conceal in order to open design space for stronger Rogue cards, but that's what I thought they'd do with weapons when they nerfed Blade Flurry. Since then, we've seen only ONE rogue weapon: it's in this expansion, and it doesn't even look that strong! (I think it looks ok, but nothing crazy.)
Still, I agree that the Quest is cool, Vilefin is (I think) very strong, and I also think Mimic Pod is sure to become a staple. Still, this is, on the whole, a weak set of cards compared to the other classes. Look what they did with Hunter and Mage!
so to everyone thinking this card is bad, prep -> petal ( get 2) petal petal, coin edwin/his plant clone. 10/10 or 6/6 on turn 4. and I need 4 cards to do it, one of which is coin, or just wait till turn 5, which I could do again on turn 5 in theory anyway. and if your talking adventurer, then he loves petals. petals are combo enablers, just like fire elemental 1/2s are for elemental consistency.
And then they Hex/Sap/Taunt/Polymorph/Freeze/whatever, and you have nothing in your hand.
I admit, it would be good against pirate warrior... those 1/20 games when you get the dream hand.

prep-crappycard-petal-petal-coin-crappy adventurer: 3mana deal 2 damage summon a 6/6
questing-prep-evis-coin-discover a card: 3 mana deal 4 damage summon a 6/6 that keeps growing discover a card to refill your hand
the only replaced cards are the new ones and it's better in all accounts
I think people are really missing out on the potential of this card. Im in no way saying that it will be op, but you pay the 2 mana 1 turn just to trigger some sort of combo card, maybe si-7 agent, and then you get 2 1 mana deal 1 damage spells for the rest of the game. That means its a 1 damage ping that you don't have to do with a weapon, its a potential 1 mana 6 damage withMalygos to play on the turn he comes out turn 10, its a potential 2 combo enablers for something later on, like Cold Blood, or its 2 1 mana deal 1 damage cycles with Gadgetzan Auctioneer. Yes it is 4 mana for 2 damage but its split over 3 cards which is something that rogue can take advantage of.
I think this card was rly bad, if there was no quest for exactly these petals.
Uh? What? Which quest?
Yea by now i noticed it too, quest is only minions.
Well in that case... maybe malygos miracle, but then again Thaurissan leaves too.
The card is not great at all.
The card exists only to support Sherazim Corpse Flower, and it doesn't even do that well. The issue is that at one mana the tokens are bad, at 0 mana they are too good. Maybe if they were free and the starting cost was 3...

Or just make them 0 mana 0/0 minions ( Die upon hitting the board ) with "deal 1 damage" as their battlecry. Though it would indeed warrant upping the cost of adding them to your hand.
Counts toward the quest, has massive synergy with it ( 0 mana 5/5s with bonus 1 damage someplace of your choice ), is actually viable tempo, but can't be abused with spell power or auctioneer in any way.
This is unbelieveable! The privilege of having 2 moonfire in rogue is they have to pay 2 mana each, with 2 mana upfront 'do nothing'. This would be laughed out of every other class. How is this not worse than purify!? This is why druid has always been the better rogue class. Malygos druid was better than Maly rogue. Mill druid better than Mill rogue. Tempo druid better than tempo rogue. And without conceal, the linchpin of miracle, Miracle druid will rise and Rogue will fall to bottom tier.

Honestly I am fine with the razor petals being 1 mana, IF the initial spell was free.
Maybe if they got an extra bonus from spell power. Or if they had combo bonuses. Or some sort of tribe interaction that caused them to do more damage. Or if they were more mana and "poisonous" ... as is, I can't imagine ever playing them.
4 mana deal 2 damage, thank you blizzard, this is not even good with the cards that want you to play many cards in one turn, why couldn't they just make the Razorpetals deal 2 damage like every other fucking 1 mana spell that deals damage? (arcane shot and holy smite)

Is the wild meta slow enough for maly rogue? If so, this will be pretty good.

4 mana 2 damage meh
Guys guys, this card is boss. You just wait until your opponent plays millhouse manastorm and then you get 3 free spells to cycle with auctioneer.
S39 Legend - Quest Rogue, S38 Legend - Murloc Paladin, S37 Legend - Miracle Rogue, S36 Top 200 Legend - Aggro Shaman, S35 - Finished Rank 51 Legend - Aggro Shaman, S34 Legend - Aggro Shaman
I'd play a flower rogue, that sounds like fun.
basically you play Sherazin, Corpse Flower which is pretty awful, but then you can use razorpetal volley with Questing Adventurer or Edwin VanCleef the following turn and revive your corpse flower.
you can also have hallucination and journey below, and flame elementals to continue the triggers.
Agreed. I think most of the nay-sayers are missing that Sherazan needs food to play.

Always Hunters. Always Huffers.
I think the intent was to activate the quest with playing 4 petals. Between this card and the minion you can put 6 petals in your deck.
Anger is the punishment we give ourselves for someone else's mistake.
What a cycle would that be...prep, volley, two petals for 0 mana :D
0 mana deal damage spell for rogue simply must not exist yet.
