I had a great time with great success with the poison + Wild Pyromancer combo when Plague Scientist was in rotation. Taunt Druid could never beat it. It's strong, although waiting till at least turn 6 to do it now will make more challenging.
I will definitely miss Vanish and am surprised they are killing it. Since when does Vanish not fit a Rogue?!?!
Does this version have an even match-up against most decks? Because old quest rogue is boring because you win against control and just get destroyed by aggro
(This message is for brentus, i forgot to quote)
Yes, it's more fun because you actually play against your opponent. And you survive most aggro and tempo because it's heavy on bouncing taunts like Saronite Chain Gang and Giggling Inventor. It's super dynamic and different each game. Less about just trying to bounce and then go for face. More about playing the game.
For even more fun, add 2 Pogo's. The win rate isn't as high, but it can add some extra fun and flavor.
Feel free to friend me and watch the play style. It's different than most decks.

I hear ya that the old style quest rogue is boring. I've been trying to make a Boomsday version that's way more control and I think I just nailed it. I've quickly climbed from Rank 15 to 3 in just a few days. So much fun to play if you like Control. And yes... I'm saying Control for a Rogue Deck.
Valeera DK is awesome and unique. You just need to build decks that support the double downs you can get in late game.
You also have to run 2 Vanishes so you can clear the board after. But honestly, Vanish is so powerful right now anyway against DK Guldan and Taunt Druid. I run them regardless.
Since this is a discovery effect, a rogue player can only find neutral or class deathrattle minions, right? I'm kinda lazy to check.
If so, here is a list of all DW effects currently (here) and in Boomsday.
In wild this would be better, since you can find strong DW minions such as Sylvanas Windrunner - see here. Imho this legendary isn't that great, because many of the current standard DWs are really weak/bad. As for wild - well, imho the rogue decks are already refined and this card doesn't really fit in either of them.
Neutral grave robber gives you any class Deathrattle which is why I’m betting this one does too.
Y'all. Before there was Shudderwock, before there were Old Gods, Mimiron's head was the first real finisher that also felt quest-like in Hearthstone. It's the deck I used to get Golden Rogue. Never played Oil Rogue. I was Mimiron all the way.
Conceal then Cold Blood = Saturday Morning Cartoon Win
Such a fun deck. Can't wait to bring it back strong!
2 eviscerates is definitely good. Might be better to trade with one of the Wild Pyromancers or Baron. Depends on if you're running into more aggro or bigger baddies. Pickpockets are pretty key to keeping fuel in the Cutlass which ultimately keeps you alive.
It's true. But that's because they are board clears. I find them to be critical to win against Taunt Druid and Bloodreaver Gul'dan if you've already used (or haven't drawn) your Vanishes.
But the poison dude is also great on Wild Pyromancer for board clear.
You could easily swap out Baron with Primordial Drake. You can't always do a full board clear but it can help with protection and will feel like dropping it sooner rather than holding for the perfect moment.
Man, I honestly think he's pretty important. Really helps against aggro to give the weapon/healing an extra turn and boost. And can double down on him easily with VtH. Saves me a lot.
As a replacement though, just add another Eviscerate for further help with board removal to buy time. Plus Eviscerate can be a great finisher with VtH.

Nice! I've been playing solo a lot too. I find that replaying Heroic Heist over and over is actually more variety than ladder right now.
Duplitransmogrifier is really fun when used on a buffing or recruiting card.

Lifedrinker is huge in this deck.

Just posted the revised deck I'm playing with now (with a full write up)... https://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/1173476-rank15-3-giggling-lab-control-quest
Give it a go and let me know of any better tweaks.

Hoping it’s Deathrattle from all classes for burgle synergy. Digging it

Ah geez. Actually I meant Conceal. Not Vanish. Best way to pull it off with Rogue.

Now we just need the new Rogue Legendary minion to say: "Play all cards that were milled this game."
