First it was Dr. Boom, king of 7/7. Then it was MC, king of 6/6. Now, we have Novice Engineer, Harbinger of 5/5. I therefore conclude that the next set's most broken card will be a 4/4.
Yeah this card makes no sense. Funny as Rogue mains even dared to say they got shit out of this set XD Complainstone to get op cards next setstone
Speak for other Rogue players, i defended this card and told everyone that they were massively understimating it, the quest attaches to your hero so Transformation effects just won't work, and silences neither.
if i said any Rogue was bad it was Flower Power Rogue Razorpetal Volley because it suffers from the same thing Burgle and Jade suffered, Blizzard didn't print enough support to have minimal mass of cards to actually do something related to the archetype, as Jade has showed 3 cards pertaining to an archetype is what makes it work while 2 is jsut not enough, one more Razorpetal card and we'd probably be seeing some flower rogues, but we only got 2 razorpetal cards so Quest rogue all the way.
most people writing bs on this topic does not even played this card or against it. Just watched dog's stream to drop nonsence in this topic. On EU this deck is already countered by midrange Elemental Shaman and handlock, since rogue quest deck does not run sap.

SHUT THE FUCK UP.
Oh shut the fuck up, yourself. I've been playing all day and in the 40 or 50 games I've played, literally every single time I've come up against a Rogue, they've activated the quest by turn 4, and by turn 6 the board is a wall of 5/5s, mostly with charge or card draw attached, which then cycle into more 5/5s. Thus, it encourages you to play faster than them to get their health down. You sound like the idiots who responded to people's legitimate complaints last expansion about pirate warrior with "omg just play dragon priest then, its so powerful". Yeah, 'cause it almost out-tempo'd PW and was just as broken. The difference is that DP fucked off and now Rogue have taken the mantle of "kill me by turn 6 or I press the win button next turn" from PW. I'm sure elementals do great a handful of times you can get the effects off consistently, but you can't kill something that can't run out of threats. If the only problem this deck has is that it doesn't run Sap, how long do you think that will take to fix? Exactly. Contrarians, man...

Sick comeback bro. "I just told everyone to shut up, and then the one person who responded, I made fun of his avatar. I fucking NAILED that debate." Least I know I don't have to bother continuing this discussion, cheers for saving my time.
Nerf all quest this is ridiculous coming everytime turn 1 in mulligan this make so easy for rogues finishing the quest. Are you joking me blizzard ? Since last expansions meta game is during 5 turns.
It doesn't really fare amazingly against Pirate Warrior. The only time I've beaten them is when my Swashburglars give me some taunts to take some of the pressure off.
Blizzard didn't even test this.If they did they would knew that you can complete the quest on turn 4-5 in 90% of the games, which makes it broken no mater how you look at it.
I like your math lol.
80% of the statistics on the internet are made up 100% of the time. :P
That being said I do think it's decently consistent since you can run a bunch of card cycle minions and cards to play aggressively, though I think it's probably going to get stomped when people catch on to literally anything running lower curve taunts and have to slow down a bit. I also think Brewmaster and Ferryman are cute but one of them will probably go. Kind of like the Hunter Quest I don't think it's great to go all in on early completion at the expense of having a reasonable deck.

I find it interesting that people initially thought it was terrible, but it ends up being incredibly powerful. I think the amount of minions played should be increased significantly, because as it stands its way too quick to accomplish.
What this Quest has shown beyond doubt is that the Hearthpwn community are absolute shite at assessing a card's potential.
Two weeks ago: "Seems really clunky" "Dust it!!!!" "Why does Rogue never get good cards?"
Today: "OP!!! OP!!! Nerf it!!" "
It's worth nothing tho that at the time Igneous Elemental hadn't been showcased yet
True, but it's not like the Quest would be unplayable without that. There was a decent minority of people who seemed to realise that the Quest would not actually be that hard to achieve.
Yes you're right. I thought it was MEH because I was not able to imagine Violet Teacher tokens have so much impact. It is obvious now :D

um, so yeah, people will eventually start playing pirate which will nerf this but, it is good.
Just fill your deck with one drops, that is creative deck design, right?
