Yeah, as much as I kinda like the nerfs, they won't stop the classic; 1. Jade Idol/Coin+Wild Growth 2. Wild Growth/Hero Power 3. Jade Blossom 4. Jade Spirit/Innervate+Aya 5. Jade Behemoth
Opening play from Druid, soooo... looks like I'm giving Hearthstone a break for a few months.
Yea, they will have that every game..... smh... Maybe you should give it a chance before you decide to quit haha
Myself and two friends opened three legendaries each from Un'Goro, MSoG, and Old Gods. One from each expansion after the patch went live. Each one before opening ten packs.
People seem upset because this card harms already established decks. Jade Druid, Evolve Shaman, and Combo Priest. The thing is, the only deck it really hoses is Jade Druid, because the gamebreaking value of the spell comes at the end of the game, and it is infinite. Evolve Shaman and Combo priest can still get value from those cards before turn 6. Additionally, Evolve Shaman and Combo Priest can get full value from those cards any time between turn 6 and whenever the tech card is actually drawn. This is different (less likely) with Jade Druid, because it doesn't get the true value of its spell until the late late stages when the tech card will be much more likely to have been drawn. The design of this card is pretty ingenious. I mean, eater of secrets exists, but if you don't have it on turn 4-8 odds are you missed your opportunity to really harm your opponent. Despite Eater of Secrets, Mage still has two maybe three legitimate meta decks.
I thought the same thing, but I re-watched the video, and it just said that the seven remaining would be revealed this week. Technically that could mean all six will be revealed on Friday. So, no guarantee, but I had the same thought.
I understand how something like the Rogue Quest got through. The intricacies of the cards that were combined to make it amazing were complex, and not easily apparent. The impact this has on the game is clear. I trust that Blizzard has tested it enough to know whether it is game breaking. I am sure it is good, but not game breaking. They wouldn't release such an obviously broken card if it was truly that broken. Chill out.
This card is fantastic on Tar Creeper, Stonehill Defender, a free Thing from Below, the new shaman taunt, and multiple totems you weren't attacking with anyway that you want to stick around. Additionally, the card synergizes with the new legendary, allowing you to steal a copy of your opponent's minion or in conjunction with Doomsayer. It will play a serious role in a freeze/control shaman deck. No doubt. Also works well on many minions in conjunction with Big Game Hunter I bet.
I have not yet lost to a pirate warrior. You need to mulligan hard for portal, stonehill, claws, storm, and it should be pretty easy from there. It is a favorable matchup. Same with Hunter.
I have played Quest Warrior against Rogue, it isn't any fun. You lose. A lot. In main part because they are able to run a lot of charge minions. I am not sure the quest is that broken. It is putting in the Boars and the charge pirates that make it very difficult to beat even with control.

Frozen elemental shaman will be a very real thing. Ice Breaker, Frost Elemental, Frost Shock, and Glacial Shard. Not to mention what else might come out this expansion. I can't wait!

You are going to need to explain to me how you beat Quest Rogue. Then we can go from there.

Ok, so if all I am facing is rogue, how do I beat it?

In all seriousness, the card is busted. It is just about all I am playing against atm...

How are people forgetting that pirates can consistently get two creatures in play on turn one... Patches....
