3 good options (Divine Shield, Deathrattle, +3 hp), 5 average/situational options (Elusive, Taunt, Windfury, Stealth, +1/1) and 2 bad options (+3 attack, Poison), seems decent. But yeah I agree, I wish the options were more evenly balanced.

It's a lot like finley for pirate warrior/shaman.
2 good options (huntard shot, life tap), 1 decent option (fire blast), and the rest pretty much suck except for some situational picks.
Most of the time you'll get a good option, but when you don't it'll really suck.

Except in this case the good/average options outnumber the bad options. There will never be a case where you'll be offerred 3 bad options, so at least that's a relief.
Wow this is a fantastic addition to the game. It adds a whole new dynamic, and sure it's more rng but in a good way, meaning you can adapt strategy based on the situation and / or what you're given as a choice. This is going to be very interesting to play :)
Druid of the Claw is already versatile enough, and is better than most versions of Verdant Longneck, primarily due to how badly its stats are distributed.
Here's a new Adapt Card. It was just announced on a Taiwan site. I personally translated it using other users feedback. I think it Adapts all of your Murlocs and not just one.
This is the next Joust. Too much Random, 30% chance of getting what you want. There are better cards in WOTOG Classic and MSG. I would still wait for the full adapt set but things are not looking good.
Dunno how to feel about it. The mechanic may suffer the usual issue that cards are generally under-stated because of the flexibility, making them difficult to play in constructed, especially in aggro meta. The idea is cool tho, as the legendary quest spells are
Drawing a card would be the most unbalanced thing ever and would make more people play aggro murlocs, imagine the card which adapts your murlocs. You'd play all your cards from hand to have 6 murlocs on board instead of getting punished you'd just add drawing a card and thus giving you 6 new cards, that would really be unbalanced and cancerous.
What?
There is no "Draw a card" option to adapt. Even if there was one, it doesn't fit the keyword "adapt" in meaning.
From the card that has been reavealed so far Adapt mechanic is little bit overpriced. It costs ~1 mana and some choices are straight bad not worth 1 mana. So if the original bodies are not good enough I suppose it will end like Joust.

This is my fear as well - Joust was a mechanic that was excellent in theory, but the cards themselves were generally not strong enough to see play. I fear they may go conservative and do the same here - you'd want an Adapt minion in your deck if you could pick the perfect effect, but the 30% to get it isn't good enough. Strikes me as a very mid-range favored mechanic - control decks will just take the guarantee taunt or health attached to a card, even if it means giving up a little in stats. Aggro will just take the guarantee divine shield or play a charge minion. Neither is going to sacrifice consistency for flexibility, but mid-range might: against aggro they want to roll a defensive adaptation, against control they might go for something aggressive or more resilient. Helps that type of deck not make itself so un-favored to one or the other, which has been a problem in the current meta.
There is no well designed RNG. It's a lazy fallback design. If an opponent always gets the better 3 choices for the situation and you always get nothing useful for the current situation, that isn't good design.

If you hate all RNG so much, wtf are you doing playing Hearthstone? They are never going to stop using it, you know.

With Menagerie Warden, Adapt can be a lot of value for beast druid
S39 Legend - Quest Rogue, S38 Legend - Murloc Paladin, S37 Legend - Miracle Rogue, S36 Top 200 Legend - Aggro Shaman, S35 - Finished Rank 51 Legend - Aggro Shaman, S34 Legend - Aggro Shaman

I hope that Paladin gets a 1 Mana card or something that just directly Adapts a minion.
brilliant idea ;)
You can choose the Poison/Deadly (10) as an adapt option? That is great.
I wager that the deathrattle option will not count the minion as a genuine deathrattle minion for the purposes of Quests and N'Zoth

inb4 a card that lets you adapt twice. That would be pretty insane value though.

The end is coming!
Now everyone have choose one option. I dont like it. It will be great in Arena at least
Deathrattle: adapt would make a fun niche card don't you think? :P
but seriously more controlled RNG (like with discover) is the most refreshing skill-based thing that could happen to hearthstone. Period.
