Same question basically: What, if anything, would you folks change?
I want to make this deck as aggresive as possible (I think that is the only route for murloc anything), while at the same time try to make sure it has enough gas to keep going after the first board clear.
I can't imagine leaving out Scargil. I know murlocs are mostly cheap, but the really important ones are not. When you are ready to flood, you usually want to slam as many synergistic bodies as you can.

I'll have to test the overload package, see if it needs more draw and test adding stuff like Earth Shock, Sea Giants and Scargil
What's your take on murloc shaman?
Heh, that is also something I was thinking about, trying to combine overload package and the murloc package, mostly for the amazing Thunderhead.
The problem I see there is that both of those have quite a lot of synergy within their tribe, but very little synergy between murlocs and overload (the only card I can see for that is Sludge Slurper).
I`m afraid that if you try to run it like that, you will often find yourself with an overload spell when you really want to drop a murloc on the board, or vice versa.
But I`m not completely sure about that. It needs testing.
As I said, I know from previous experience that Thunderhead is absolutely amazing (and so is Likkim), as long as you have the right cards in your hand (cheap overload spells), but ALSO, you need to contest the board early on, or often he will just get squashed by aggro on the next turn.
I also crafted one leaving out the overload pack. I agree that likkim is tempting and strong but i go with classic lighning storm to fight wide boards.
like the direct firepower added and Mojomaster (use him a lot so i should ^^). But the deck looks like a one try thing without reload options. I think Soul of the Murloc makes the murloc decks much more dangerous.
After revisiting my Overload list (I dropped the Rockbiter + Doomhammer combo for the moment, as I think it might be too slow) here's the full Murloc version. I remembered that almost all of the early Taunts are going to leave but our wolves are still around, so why shouldn't they protect some fish men while also charging up the weapon?! Also, Hagatha is a no-brainer and I already found her to be very powerful in Quest Shaman.
I'm not sure about putting 2 soul of the murloc. If we have the board, we are already snowballing the game so we don't need it and if we lost the board, it's useless. Maybe 1 is enough vs an aoe.
Everybody is reccomending Hagatha, but I`m not convinced.
1) She deals an AoE when played, dealing 3 damage to ALL minions. Almost all of YOUR minions have 3 or less health, and this IS a board centric deck.
2) I think people are caught up in the comparison to DK Rexxar which does enable an aggro deck to outvalue almost everything. Hagatha is simply not that powerful. You need to have minions in your hand to play so you can get value out of her. And by turn 8 it is highly likely that your hand is close to empty. The only really powerful combo I can see there is saving Ghost Light Anglers till after you play her, and then drop 5 of them on the board (with coin, or on turn 10). But even that demands specific cards in your hand, at just the right moment. And that kind of play just doesn`t fit with a deck like this.
With that being said, I`m not really sure whether she will work here or not. I believe it must be tested out.
It looks like they want to push this archetype and it seems powerful. This is what I came up with:
What's your take on murloc shaman?
Heh, I just wanted to open pretty much the same thread.
I think it would be better if I just post my deck here, to avoid cluttering:

So, any opinions?

So, idk... As said, it needs more testing.

This is what I have come up so far, the witch cauldron looks like a nice addition as well..
This one is my try:

I have an updated version, but bc of some reason it doesn't appear here. It contains Sea Giants and Cult Master.
Hm, it's updated now.
TBH it feels like a mistake to play a Shaman deck without Hagatha.
Also, I am really suspicious of Scargil. I have a feeling he won't be good.
I think Voltaic Burst makes sense in a boad-centric deck that plays Soul of the Murloc.
Bluegill might be worth playing simply for the 3-mana removal "spell" combo with Toxfin.
Especially such a minion-heavy deck.

I agree about voltaic burst, much better than the lightning bolt I was running before.
I agree about Scargil, it's a card that's going to need some testing
Hagatha sounds tempting, but I'm not sure just yet

I would add Electra Stormsurge and definitely carry 2x Bloodlust.
Rusty Recycler
Ironic. It could recycle others, but not itself.

Everybody knows that...

according to me here's are the core cards we absolutely have to put in the deck :
Hagatha the Witch
Scargil
2x Sludge Slurper
2x Toxfin
2x Underbelly Angler
2x Murloc Warleader
2x Coldlight Seer
2x Murloc Tidecaller
2x Bloodlust
1x Murloc Tastyfin
I'm not sure about putting 2 soul of the murloc. If we have the board, we are already snowballing the game so we don't need it and if we lost the board, it's useless. Maybe 1 is enough vs an aoe.
my version of the deck
I think 2 copies of soul of the murloc is a must tbh, it does a lot for its cost.
You're all talking me into Hagatha, I guess I'll have to give in lol
Everybody is reccomending Hagatha, but I`m not convinced.
1) She deals an AoE when played, dealing 3 damage to ALL minions. Almost all of YOUR minions have 3 or less health, and this IS a board centric deck.

I also am not convince about her. Shure depends on the deck and i use her but does´t feel mandatory.
